Every time I read how great Green Tea is for you, I just feel....UGH...I can't stand that stuff. And believe me, I've tried numerous times, adding sugar or honey or whatever. Now I'm dealing with LongCovid and looking for ways to improve my mitochondria. Of course, green tea pops up again - UGH. Please, not green tea again. I just can't do it...just can't. Well, I just happened to have a Republic of Tea variety bag and was searching for anything to possibly replace coffee for a couple of days. Then I spot Pomegranate Green Tea. Hmmmm, I love pomegranate. Maybe it will be something I can choke down. WOW!!! This is really, really tasty. Doesn't taste like Green Tea at all. It just tastes like yummy pomegranate. I am beyond thrilled! So, as someone who truly hates green tea, believe me when I say, this is really wonderful :-)

Republic teas are always good. Red teas are supposed to be high in phytonutrients

This tea tastes so much better than plain green tea! I like it hot or as an ice tea. It gives me a nice small boost of caffeine and energy mid morning.

Given all of the health benefits, I’ll drink this daily, no problem. I hate the taste of tea in general but like pomegranate, the flavor was faint but overall not a bad flavor at all.

I drink this as a cold brewed tea and it is excellent. I put 4 bags into 2 quarts of Spring water and let it steep for about ten minutes. I then add a squeeze of lemon. I add no sugar, and yet it still has a nice subtle sweetness. I recommend this for those who are looking for a healthy alternative to drinking sodas.
