Am a fan of Milos but not of this CD

Great interpretation of well known music

I was expecting more Latino, more tango and was a touch disappointed that there wasn't more but his playing is glorious whatever he plays

Only like a couple of tracks

Love this CD. I inquired about it after i heard a piece of music off Strictly come dancing. Vincent Simone and Danielle (gir l from Tracey Beaker) were dancing an Argentine Tango and fell in love with the music. I shazammed the piece and it said it was the Libertine tango. So i was hell bent on finding that particular piece with that particular count. Latino Gold had it so i didn't hesitate. It's a great CD for eclectic music lovers.

Latino Gold is unusual in that items I am used to hearing in an orchestral setting are left to the soloist (guitarist) to interpret and yet with orchestral accompaniment on some occasions. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that the Cantilena of Villa Lobos worked so well with voice and guitar. Anna Prohaska has a beautiful sound and the two artists could be said to bring out the best in each other. An inspired choice of items beautifully recorded.

I bought this CD after I saw an interview with Milos on breakfast TV. I was really inspired by the energy, confidence and charisma of Milos and just love the music. The CD did not disappoint and I put it on regularly

Bought this CD 'cos I'd seen him on The One Show playing Girl from Ipanema- The beautiful tones and wonderful playing skill I saw and heard on the box are exactly as promised. This is a such a gifted guitarist I'm surprised he's not more well-known. Perhaps this record will do it. I recommend this buy to anyone interested in guitar music and the pleasure of this beautiful, skilful sound wafting thro' their rooms.
