After six months of using the Shure MV7+ for my weekly podcast, I can confidently say this microphone delivers professional results with surprising ease of use. Voice clarity is exceptional, and the reverb effects add nice polish when needed, though I typically keep them minimal. Having both USB-C and XLR outputs is incredibly convenient. (Reviewed by my 16 year old son) Upgraded from a fiffine microphone (the AM8), and I have to say, the difference is definitely noticeable in the quality of the microphone. When gaming/typing, the keyboard can't be heard, as long as I am talking, due to its built in noise cancelation. When I loaded into public games while using this microphone, many people told me the mic sounded really good, lol. The good thing about this mic, that I didn't really find in other mics, is that you don't have to be super close to it to have crisp audio. I have it about 4-5 inches from my face when using it, and it sounds like it is maybe 1 or 2 inches away. The mute RGB bar on the mic is super easy to click, and turns red when muted, so i don't have to worry about making sure I'm muted. A really good mic, but very pricey. I would mainly recommend if you stream/create content.

The shure mv7+ is a great mic obviously. I bought it replace my 6 year old shure mv88 which was $99 back then. The quality is the same, the sound the same. The $300 price is insane. The mv7+ wouldn’t work with my iPad Pro 10th gen. I messaged the seller and they responded to me very quickly and we spoke back and forth trouble shooting and they offered a refund/return when it just wouldn’t work for me. So I really appreciate how helpful and knowledgeable the seller is, they answered all my questions. In my video I compare the the mv7+ with the old mv88. And basically I think it’s a fabulous mic but $300 is just wild when the same quality was in their $99 mv88. And with the old mv88 you don’t have to unplug it or wear headphone to hear your playback, like you have to do with this mv7+. Big downgrade for me, with triple the price. I still like it, it’s a great mic. Update: I found a solution to my gripe about having to wear headphones or unplug the shure to hear my recording playback. I just plugged some little speakers into the mic instead of headphones. 😄

Sounds great, easy installation, I love the look. Used with a PC USB connection, Shure MOTIVmix app, and a RODE PSA1+ stand. Comes with a 3 m USB C-C cable which was long enough for a standing desk with the desktop on the floor on the other side of the desk. The LED lighting seemed unnecessary to me, didn't see an easy way to turn it off in the app (perhaps 'Solid' with the colour set dark).
