I was doubtful about purchasing this item initially. I had seen several positive reviews of it on YouTube channels, so I decided to purchase one for an upcoming trip to the Sierras. My family and I received several mosquito bites and put this device to use. While it has a mild discomfort from heating while in use (which can be adjusted via the settings in the App), it actually did the trick in making the bites stop itching. It doesn't burn the skin, it just feels hot. From that point on, everyone was coming to me when they got bit to ask me to zap it. The device is very compact and easy to carry (I attached a small carabineer to it and hang it on my backpack) and the App is very self intuitive and simple to use. It preps and activates very quickly and provides almost immediate relief. Have used it several times since I got back home also. Don't question the purchase, just get it. It really does work! (especially on the irritating little ankle biter S.O.B. sites)

I was concerned I’d lose it because of the friction fit holding it to the keychain attachment, my keys see get a lot of abuse and this thing is still hanging on now a few months down the road. This product is just as advertised, it’s no cure all, but it brings me temporary relief, and it’s very easy to use. I don’t write reviews, but I am genuinely surprised it’s still hanging on my keychain.

I just received mine in a nice little box, a week ago I was bit so bad with mosquito bites I was in misery from about 20-30 bites all over my legs. My area got a ton of rain and literally these mosquitos were biting clear through my leggings and shirts. I always seem to draw in bugs that want to bite and I was bitten so badly it caused me to have a flare up and swell. This last weekend started those nasty beetle/gnat like bugs that aren’t affected by bug spray whatsoever and the itchiness for their bites is comparable to mosquitos so I was desperate for something to actually work. Benadryl and hydrocortisone cream helped maybe ten minutes before I’d be digging into these bites so I searched and luckily found this. I was very skeptical but the reviews seemed to be consistent and today I finally got mine and had a fresh mosquito bite just starting to itch bad so I opened the app, I like the app because there’s no password or account to set up! It immediately opens to the page that controls the settings so I set mine to medium length of time, adult and for sensitive skin and then plugged in this device into my iPhone and holy crap it works!!! It burns, there’s no denying it’s uncomfortable for a few seconds especially in tender areas but so worth it and hours after trying it once on the worst of my bites… there’s no itch there!!! I tried it on the bites from these evil gnats as well and again, it burns pretty intensely but not in a harmful way and then no itch immediately! I had no idea heat was a method nor that there’s a device meant for killing the venom/saliva/stinger in the bite. I highly recommend this, I can’t speak to duration or life span but it’s worth the investment to be able to easily carry this anywhere on a key chain and have immediate access to relief that actually works! Now if they could create a device that keep mosquitos and gnats away

All my friends come to me when they get bit now because of this little german made device, thanks to Snazzy Labs on youtube for demoing this product I can attest it works, even if it's a little painful to zap for some. The app has this great feature where it detects when you plug it in, so you don't have to find the app in your app drawer it just pops up. Great stuff!

If you're like me, spend a lot of time outdoors and are a mosquito magnetic and stinging insects love you, this thing is AMAZING! Probably my favorite weird purchase ever. I not only attract insects that make me itch, but they make me itch for days and I have a low tolerance for itching. This stays on my keychain all the time. It's really small so it doesn't get in the way. Just pull off the cap and plug it into your phone and it guides you through the different settings; one for kids, a different one for sensitive skin, etc. Personally I use the highest setting, place it right on the bug bite, and let it do its thing. Itching STOPS for 4-8 hrs for me. I've used it immediately on a bee sting and repeatedly for mosquito or spider bites that itch for days. Definitely test it on your skin before you need it because different people have different tolerances to the heat level. I prefer the highest setting but friends and family I've used it on think it feels too hot so they can use the short sensitive skin setting. I used to work in a hospital lab and I learned from a doctor that running hot water on an itchy bite or sting was the longest acting relief from the itch. I've lived by that ever since but hot running water isn't always available. I love this Heat It thing!??!

No matter where I go, mosquitos find me. I always get bitten more than everyone I'm around. NOTHING stops the itchiness, I've tried everything. When I saw heat it, I figured I'd give it a shot, I've tried everything else, but remained skeptical. IT WORKS! This is the first and only thing I've ever seen that stops a mosquito bite itch. It's a temporary solution with the itchiness going away for about 6 hours. When it comes back, just use it again and you're good! The app is very easy and clear. Heat it works instantly when attached. The temperature can be adjusted for kid or adult with or without sensitive skin so it's not too hot. I use it all the time as I have it attached to my keychain. I use it on my kids too. After a little fear of it being too hot (it's not), they saw the effects and now ask for it any time they get a bite. Absolutely worth the purchase!

I am a mosquito, tick @ spider magnet. I am AMAZED at how well this thing works. I’ve attached it to my phone case with a ring and it goes everywhere I go. Unbelievable how well it works!

I waited until now to review because I am now in Jamaica. Love it here but I always have bites to deal with. Nothing has worked satisfactory until this product. No itching from treated bites at all.

The item is fine, great if anything. I'd rate the item 5 stars. On the other hand the third party seller is scalping this device and selling it at about 30$ over the price it's supposed to cost. Not only that; I've spoken to the creator and the third party sellers are selling this illegally here in Canada as it hasn't been approved by Health Canada yet for use as a medical device. Making it illegal to sell. These are overpriced unbelievably by people who are knowingly taking advantage of the fact that the creator can't sell these legally in Canada yet. So they're hiking up the prices as high as possible. Wait another 8-10 months and heat it should be approved for legal sale and you'll only have to pay around 50-60$ depending on how the changes happen with inflation and the trade war.
