Impact 860 ANC - High Performance Noise Cancelling Double Ear Headset, Super Wideband Audio, USB-C Connectivity

Excellent mic quality that makes the other party hear you clearly, including Active Noise Cancelation (ANC).

I bought this headset for business use as I do a lot of Teams meetings many of them outdoors, and many at home with ambient noise. I was looking for a headset that conceals the background noise from my interlocutors. After a lot of research I came up with this one, and I chose the wired as some people had issues with the wireless connection. After 1 week of use I can say that it has good mic quality, mic noise cancelation is good but not as marvelous as marketed. Sound quality is good, but not loud enough, and not for music of course. The ANC of the headphones is almost non existent to the extent that I returned the first headset I had received thinking that it had been faulty especially after all the praise I had found here in the reviews. However after I had received the replacement, I realized that it is just not good enough, and those who praised the ANC either have never tried a pair of boses or air pods, or these are just fake comments from affiliates with EPOS. I finally decided to keep this headset as my main demand was for the noise canceling mic which is satisfactory so far, also I got it with a very good offer here on Amazon and the different between the ANC and the non ANC versions was trivial.

Crackling sounds in one ear

This is nice one. Helpful in taking online classes as well as meetings in noisy environments. I tested using TV's 50% volume on just 3 feet away from it. Value for money and serves the intended purpose.

This is a really good headset, comes neatly packaged in its box. When you open it up you're greeted with a soft felt-like pouch with elastic straps (that's the carry case for it). open it up and inside you'll find the EPOS Impact headset nicely wrapped up. Simply remove the ear caps, take off the tie for the cord and it's ready for use. Thankfully it does come with a USB - A connection which is plug & play, so when you plug it in your PC or laptop will recognise it. I tested it out with Microsoft Teams using the Echo call tester - the sound itself is amazing ... crystal clear and easy to hear. The ear cushions are soft and sit well on your ears, unlike other headsets whose earpads might irritate your ears after some use, these won't! Overall a rather impressive headset for the price paid for it.

I was sent a defective unit. Great surprise when I opened what was supposedly a brand new unit with a printed note inside listing the defects.

Even if someone is speaking behind you or there is background conversation in the room, the headset filters it out very effectively. During calls, the person on the other side hears my voice clearly without any disturbance. The microphone quality is outstanding, and the overall audio clarity is very professional. It makes a big difference during meetings, especially in a busy or shared workspace. The build quality and comfort are also great, making it suitable for long hours of use without discomfort. Overall, if you need a reliable headset for professional calls or meetings and want strong noise cancellation, the EPOS Impact 860T is a fantastic choice. It may seem costly at first, but the performance and call quality make it absolutely worth it.
