A perfect purchase!
Once in a blue moon, when all stars are all aligned, a customer gets a perfect product with an amazing value for money and most importantly when it is exactly as advertised and more than that. Cosmic byte Stellaris is exactly that product in my opinion. For just Rs 3000- we get a more than decent , premium built Xbox controller with accurate magnetic hall effect sticks (which by itself is a huge deal at this price!) and cross connectivity across any platform that can run a game, macro/extra buttons on the back, trigger stops for competitive gaming, a solid battery life, non-chapri RGB, replaceable keycaps!! The list just goes on...The pros are just everything, so there's no point to write about them. Every feature works exceptionally well.I will briefly touch over the cons , which are-1. The analog stick press action is to hard and stiff. This makes hold to sprint in games a bit difficult.2. Placing the gamepad back in its box makes it turn on automatically every 5 seconds which seems weird.3. To turn off analog RGB, you have to press both the triggers for 6 seconds which in hindsight could have been corrected as it may seem distracting if you are shooting for than 6 seconds. Still, not a deal breaker.4. Charging cable is a bit too short. With that said , Cosmic byte Stellaris is absolutely worth it and highly recommended for anyone getting into controllers to take a step back from a tight and stiff keyboard mouse setup. This controller presents a huge middle finger to the monopoly of overpriced and unreliable Xbox controllers in the market.Trust me, I'm writting this review after a month of constant usage and the value proposition and experience has been outstanding. I've done competitive gaming as well with this in Battlefield, CS2 and other games, the accuracy hype is true! Though it cannot replace keyboard mouse in these games but still does a decent job with flicks and tracking, even without aim assist.Lastly, here's some information not all of us know. Stellaris has a no deadzone and a sweet 0.1% error rate in both sticks. Even with that goodness, each game has a different deadzone inbuilt within each game's engine for example, a fast paced fps game will have a short deadzone and slow paced story based game might have a bigger deadzone. So the experience might vary with each game and we cannot really take consistent advantage of the high accuracy and zero deadzone of this controller (and steam input is also no help at all) but anyways, the sticks are super smooth and deadzone or not , my experience with Stellaris is significantly better other cheap controllers I've bought in the past.Go for it..!!!

#Hall effect Trigger and Joystick
The inclusion of Hall effect sensors in both the triggers and joysticks of the Cosmic Byte Stellaris Tri-Mode Wireless-Bluetooth-Wired Controller offers several significant advantages over traditional potentiometer-based designs. Here’s how Hall effect technology enhances the gaming experience:Hall Effect TechnologyHall effect sensors use magnetic fields to detect the position of the trigger or joystick. This method provides several key benefits:Precision and Accuracy: Hall effect sensors offer greater precision and accuracy in detecting movements. This is crucial for gaming, where precise control can make a significant difference, especially in fast-paced or competitive games.Durability: Since Hall effect sensors rely on magnetic fields and have no physical contact points that wear down over time, they are more durable and reliable. This means the triggers and joysticks maintain their responsiveness and accuracy over longer periods, even with heavy use.Smooth Operation: The lack of physical friction in Hall effect sensors results in smoother operation. This can enhance the overall feel of the controller, making movements feel more fluid and responsive.Reduced Drift: One common issue with traditional joysticks is drift, where the joystick registers movement even when it is centered. Hall effect sensors are less prone to this issue, providing a more consistent and reliable experience.Hall Effect TriggersEnhanced Control: The precision offered by Hall effect sensors means that the triggers can detect even slight variations in pressure. This allows for more nuanced control in games, such as gradually accelerating a car or lightly pressing a trigger to aim down sights before shooting.Customizable Sensitivity: Some controllers allow players to adjust the sensitivity of the triggers. With Hall effect sensors, these adjustments can be more precise, catering to the specific needs and preferences of the player.Hall Effect JoysticksAccurate Movement: For joysticks, the precision of Hall effect sensors translates into more accurate in-game movement. This is particularly beneficial in genres that require precise aiming or movement, such as first-person shooters or flight simulators.Consistent Performance: Over time, traditional joysticks can develop inconsistencies due to wear and tear. Hall effect joysticks maintain consistent performance, ensuring that the controller remains reliable throughout its lifespan.SummaryThe use of Hall effect technology in both the triggers and joysticks of the Cosmic Byte Stellaris Tri-Mode Wireless-Bluetooth-Wired Controller significantly enhances its performance, durability, and user experience. Gamers can expect precise control, smooth operation, and long-lasting reliability, making this controller a top choice for those seeking high-quality, advanced gaming peripherals.

Bang for your buck
Let's get the negatives out of the way. First off, the product came with just the Cosmic Byte packaging and didn't have Amazon packaging, which is weird and not at all a good practice. Secondly, the controller is a bit small compared to DualSense and XS controller so it takes a while to get adjusted to it. Then, there are so many button combos to enable/disable stuff that it's confusing and the manual, while informative, is not very well conveyed. The face buttons are a bit raised and require more force to press down compared to a Dualshock/Sense controller.Other than these complaints, the Stellaris is an amazing product for the price. Got it for 2.5k and couldn't have asked for a better controller at this price range with this many features.+ Decent build quality and feels great on the hands. Sufficiently weighty too+ The analogue sticks are really solid and the fact that they're Hall effect, is the cream of the crop. Very little in the way of Deadzone.+ All connectivity options work without a fault+ While it took around 3+ hours to fully charge the controller from 0-100, the battery lasts for a good while as well, as long as the Dualsense+ Extra analgoue sticks included+ Can turn off RGB and customize the vibration+ Native connectivity for PC, Android, Switch etcEasily the best controller at this pricepoint as it surpassed my expectations. Either get this or shell out 2.5k more for a DualSenseP.S- Didn't get to fiddle around with macros but heard that it's quite cumbersome
