Amazon Basics Fine Tip Point Permanent Markers for Office, School, and Home Use, Black, 24 Pack

I’m very pleased with these markers, both in quality and quantity. I carry one with me for school, and my mom uses them on the whiteboard for her classes. They don’t disappoint.

I use a lot of these at work and in my garage. I wanted to try a small box before I purchased a bigger one. I haven’t had them for long, still on my first. I like the line it’s like between extra fine and fine. I think it’s just right! I think they’re great for the price! If I find a reason that I’m not satisfied with them I’ll update. If I don’t update know that I think they’re great!

I bought these as a gift for my son to use for some of his art projects. There are a variety of colors and I like how bright they are. When you open the box, you see that they all look good together, the colors complement each other. It was a great price, and they are pretty durable, and have good quality, not like other cheap ones that I purchased in the past.

So I expected a bit more from this markers based on the reviews I read. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that some of these are not nearly the vibrant colors I expected. I went through this box as soon as I received them because I was working on an art project. I found about half of the box to be more of a pastel marker, and the other half to be a vibrant, bold marker like a Sharpie. You can see in the photos. When you are using them to color in shapes it can be difficult to get a smooth color without streaks in it. Also, when filling in these shapes, I went over them a couple of times to smooth out the color, and this caused some bleed through on to the paper beneath the one I was marking. I do like the fine tips of these, as they seem to hold up well, and you can easily write legibly with them. It is nice that they come in a cardboard box that can be used for storage, and being a Prime customer I got them quite quickly. I think these markers would be quite suitable for most needs, but I wouldn’t consider them to be a high quality marker for a more serious project. As expensive as things are these days, these are a reasonable price and would be a good option for back to school or to have around an office. All in all a decent set of markers.

They are simple markers that work well. I have not had any issues when it comes to durability yet, color, or smearing.

Working in a kitchen, one needs black Sharpies EVERYWHERE. So it's great when they are not expensive at all. And I like the fine but bold line these produce. I like them better than Sharpies! (blasphemy I know!)

I use markers for my coloring and I never thought that I would be writing a review of a product made by Amazon Basics. I started coloring with them at least 5 minutes after delivery and I am totally impressed. The colors pop on the page and they do not bleed. They are beautiful and match exactly to the cap. They are easy to color with and I definitely will buy them again when it's time, but I bought 48 so it should be awhile. I definitely suggest these for anyone who colors a lot, just like me.

Not better than sharpie.. but cheaper... It takes several seconds to dry before it's smudge free. Better than the dollar store ones, but no sharpie...

These are good quality markers and for the price, it is value for money. You get the exact same shades as shown - 3 each of Black and Blue and 2 each of Red, Green and Purple. The nibs are somewhat pointed and you will be able to write on most surfaces. I bought these as part of a house shifting to mark boxes, packing tapes, plastics etc. and they worked well on all of these surfaces. Where I found these to be light in shade when writing, I just wrote on top of the original writing one or two more times, so that they would appear nice and dark. These dry and stay well enough as far as my experience is concerned. My only issue is that I wish these came in packs of six or less as the twelve of them were way too many for me.
