I bought the DJI Avata 2 as it offers an improved, immersive FPV (First-Person View) drone experience with better imaging, safety, and flight time compared to its predecessor. It is an excellent choice for my cinematic shots and cruising flights, The Avata 2 pairs well with the new DJI Goggles 3 and DJI RC Motion 3 controller for a convenient, user-friendly experience. If you want to fly fast..this is the drone for you. I have fitted some protection to it just incase. I love this drone. Thanks DJI.

Well, I'm really impressed. I've had various DJI drones and recently got into fpv via a DJI Neo. I already had the goggles N3 and motion controller, so connecting them to the Avata 2 was a piece of cake. Whilst the Neo is capable during a calm day, it struggles to handle windier conditions, as I found out a few weeks ago. Since then, I was determined to get the Avata 2 and I'm so pleased I did. This thing is fast and responsive. The camera is also great at 4k, with lower resolutions having frame rates up to 120fps. There's 46gb of memory built in, so you can use that or pop a memory card inside. The 46GB is more than enough to start with. Batteries charge quickly too, so you can keep flying for longer. This works perfectly with the Goggles N3, but is also compatible with the Goggles 3 and Goggles 2. It's also worth paying the extra £49 for DJI care, which covers 2 crashes, fly aways, etc. Overall, an impressive drone to add to my collection and to do some serious fpv flying. Definitely well recommended.

I bought this drone as a replacement due to my previous drone breaking (my fault). To be honest, the new one from Amazon is far better. It seems to fly faster in sports mode and can fly further without any glitches. I'm really pleased with the performance of the new drone.

Brilliant little drone it can do some amazing things via hand tracking mobile phone or using the goggles N3 I bought this kit for the fpv so I could later buy the avata 2 drone only kit to kink to the same goggles and controller a week later I did. Just that it's very simple and means I don't need 2 goggles and 2 controllers just bring the drones and switch the link in the east to use googles job done honestly if your fpv curious this is the kit for you plus U have an awesome track me drone for other stuff well worth the mony

Great product arrived securely

Brought the avata 2 second hand from amazon warehouse I'm pretty sure it was a return, I'm sure the original buyer could not get it to work the firmware was corrupt and and no device or computer would pick up, so bricked. But after about 2 days of messing about with it I cracked it, it's never been flown it looked completely brand new. Got a not of flight time now works great love and love it. would have got 5 star if it wasn't for initial problem with firmware

I am writing this review for everyone who may have gotten a few things wrong when giving it a proper review. Please keep in mind that this is not a toy nor is it your typical dji drone and also not your typical fpv drone. So, with all that in mind let me clear up some of the issues that others have reported that may actually have been user bias, user's lack of either the unit's design and functionality, or as well as the software knowledge and/ or proper expectations of this drone in the field. 1. If someone states that this drone cannot do proper freestyle maneuvers, than they have not taken the proper time to learn certain maneuvers or they are just incapable of doing them with this drone. People see the videos, we all have; where it does flips, rolls and close proximity flying; so obviously it is possible, it just takes time and a lot of practice. If someone says, " oh it just started flying out of control and flew crazy, then its almost for sure that they had a recent crash or hard landing and afterwards they did not recalibrate either the compass, IMU, gimbal or the vision sensors. This is one thing I do remember as a dji pilot from days ago; if you even bump the ground a little its a good idea to recalibrate all of the above, otherwise it will not know up from down, or be just real hard to control. This happened to me on my maiden flight with the dji neo. I cane to close to crashing but just bumped the ground, however I regained control. Wiped the sweat off my face and just when I thought i could breath a sigh of relief, it started flying like it was drunk. I could intermittently regain control but only for a second and then it was gone. Luckily I landed it in a neighbor's lawn. Was able to restart it. Unfortunately I wasn't smart enough to think of how I used to immediately take my dji drone back to the desk if I crashed/ bumped it and did those calibrations before flying it again. Only after crashing again that i said enough. Took it home and did some thinking and with a little research it hit me. Sure enough i did thise calibrations and it flew perfectly. Something btw, I believe dji should make more available to customers when they first fly it. It's not something you have to do with fpv drones, like a tiny whoop or a carbon fiber frame drone ( non dji,) but it is a regular procedure with all dji drones. Lastly, I will be taking my avata 2 on her maiden flight this weekend and plan on giving it a proper review but only after I have read all the safety instructions as well as starting in normal mode to get used to the drone, rc and goggles. Amazing drone. Very useful for anyone looking to do photography, video, or just have fun flying. Though keep in mind when your buying one thats used, that the original owner is the only one that can un-bind they account from the drone, dji can reach out to the owner but there is no guarantee that they will un bind there account. I only mentioned this because I tryed getting a used one first.

I am beginning to love this drone more and more each day the more I fly it the capabilities of the Drone are great the stability is great for this drone the camera is great on this drone I have many drones all of them are camera drones high in drones but this one is pretty fun I must say when I just want to get away from regular flying and I want to fly indoors this is the camera to do it if that's good with the most controller I don't fly it manually as of yet you can use the fpv controller to fly to normal and sport mode as well if you fly with manual if you have that controller be sure to use the simulator and get your skills up you do not want to crash your drone and destroy your drone be careful but if you're flying this phone normal this drone is awesome

This my second one. My first one crashed and I tried to use "Turtle Mode" to flip it over, but the trash and grass on the ground got caught in the blade and caused a "ESC" error to come up making the drone unable to fly. That was my fault because I should have just walked around the building and just picked it up. But this one is great just like the first one. Great for beginners.
