I recently installed the Govee Smart Outdoor String Lights in my backyard, and I gotta say, they’ve totally transformed my space! Setting them up was a breeze; I just followed the straightforward instructions. The smart app is user-friendly, and I loved being able to customize the colors and patterns to match my mood or the occasion. What really impressed me was the brightness. They illuminate my patio perfectly without being overwhelming. I’ve used them for a cozy dinner with friends, and they created such a warm atmosphere. Plus, the fact that I can control them from my phone is a game changer. I can adjust the settings right from my seat! The build quality seems solid, and they’ve held up well to some light rain, which is a plus. I appreciate how energy-efficient they are too. These lights are basically my new best friends. They hooked up to Alexa without a hitch and now I feel like a wizard commanding them with my voice. I hung them outside and they light up my patio like a low-key disco—great colors, great vibes. Installation was stupid easy with the included tie straps, though I’ll probably swap them for something fancier later. (The tie straps work fine, but they scream ‘temporary fix.’) Only gripe? I wish they were a tad brighter. Still, they’re staying up because they look amazing and Alexa and I are having way too much fun with them.

Amazing lights perfect for outdoor ! We needed some lights in the back yard for my daughter’s first birthday and it brought the whole party together with bright lights and color changing when everyone started dancing amazing product !

Great product, awesome features

Got these as a very delayed replacement for a cheaper set that ultimately failed after getting my house soft washed. They weren’t “smart lights” and had very minimal functionality. There’s about 1/2 the number of bulbs in this kit than I had before, but they have much higher capacity of brightness, colors, and options. At night, I only keep the brightness around 5-10% since it is an enclosed space and routinely very dark otherwise. Since it was a swap, I already had hook hardware up, so install was easy and straightforward. I have a 50’ set surrounding the interior of my patio. Length is spot on. All elements are above the screen line, tucked away from direct weather to reduce the chance of excessive exposure from storms, especially since the previous Walmart set failed so quickly after water intrusion. The only thing I wish I could do was lessen the length of power wiring since the beginning of the line was right where the power supply is located.

This is at least the 4th Govee product I have purchased. I’ve used their temperature sensors, twin spotlights, and other lighting products. I just want to say that the customer service I have received has been stellar. For this particular purchase, the 144’ strings lights, one of the 3 strings did not work. I contacted Govee and went through the troubleshooting process with them. Once all attempts failed, they immediately sent me a completely new, 3 string replacement set and did not require me to return the faulty one. The same applied to other items I had purchased through Amazon. They were definitely out of warranty when they stopped working, but by contacting Govee directly and following their troubleshooting, the same thing happened…they sent me brand new items. Out of warranty! They do stand behind their products. Are the products 100 percent perfect? No. Mostly they are fine, but if you receive a product that doesn’t meet your expectations, just take the time to contact them rather than criticizing the company. You won’t be sorry.

Love the app user-friendly does take some getting used to to know how to navigate through it. Works well when you set it up to music like I said it just takes some time getting used to using the app. The timer works great they automatically turn on at your desired time and shut off at your desired time. The adjustment for a bright and less bright is very good. The colors are beautiful.

These lights are easy to hang and include clips to further make the effort easier. They fit perfectly into a 10x10 gazebo attached to the struts. As advertised you can control the color and brightness of the lights. down to the individual globe, (maybe overkill). But, the App is easy to install and connect to. Many themes and preconfigured settings you can take advantage of with timers. The cost is higher than many similar products, but not by much. This is a solid product, works as advertised, and a great investment.

Love everything about these lights. Customizable for every season in our yard. I mostly bought them so I could have lights on for my dogs when they go out at night but I also like them for myself. I like picking the fun preset colors and choosing my own patterns. You can adjust the brightness and timing. They were so easy to set up. Highly recommend!

I purchased these earlier this summer. I have them on my patio now for about three (3) months and I am using them daily. They work great, good quality and I am not expecting any trouble. I installed these using a separate purchased kit on Amazon with the cable and hooks to hang these lights on. This is highly recommended because you can create a tight and straight line to simply hang the lights on. This way there is no strain on the Govee wire which carries the electrical power.

These lights are absolutely beautiful and amazing. Customer service is the best of the best. This is a solid product. Govee has amazing quality lights for the price. There is an amazing community within the app which could be overwhelming at times, but there is tons of help in the community. I have several Govee products and the addiction is on! Bright lights, great scences and very programmable. And for that reason I'm in!

They broke after one year. Hope I can get exchanged. Heavily disappointed. All died except one. My other Cheap string lights from Costco still going after 5 years. product has no quality control.
