I’m really happy with this aquarium filter. It was easy to install and started working right away. The water in my tank cleared up noticeably within a day or two, and it runs fairly quietly compared to other filters I’ve used. I also like that it has the built-in UV feature to help keep the water clean. Overall it works great for my tank and seems like a good value for the price

I was skeptical, but I tried it, I decided to give it enough time before writing this review. I purchased this on January 19th,2026. The day it arrived I cleaned the tank and set it up. Today is March 6th, 2026. I have Not had to clean the tank since( yes the filter in the pump, but that is all). No more green on the tank glass and no more hazy water. I 100% recommend this small aquarium filter U-V pump. Would definitely buy another if I set up another tank.

What is very easy to put together so far?It's working well

Very powerful. Mounts easily good build quality. I did cut the foam filter and add in some ceramic media to support a good ecosystem. The uv algae killer is no joke. I put this in a dirty green tank just to see if It could clean it. It stopped the growth cold and cleared the water in less than 24 hours (it was very very murky) I now understand why the uv light is separately controlled from the filter as it would kill too much algae if left on. I like to leave a little for the snails to munch I have it in a little tank and it is a little loud but thats due to the depth.

This pump is a big larger than expected and barely fits into my small 10 gallon tank at an angle. It has to be completely submerged under the water or it will not work at all. Also the cord lengths are very short compared to my other cords (thermometer and led lamp) and there are two cords (the UV light and the pump itself). I was just expecting one plug. The flow is a little strong for my smaller fish and makes them swim backwards when resting but they don't seem to mind. And the sound is very quiet which is super nice. Overall, it really worked to get rid of my algae problem when nothing else did (including multiple water changes and algae water treatment drops). After 7 days my tank was no longer green but still a little cloudy. No change from day 7 onward (at about 3 weeks now). Overall I am happy it worked! Just wish the cord was longer and the size was a little smaller for my tank. Attached before and after photos.

This is a great product. My water was foggy before I got this product. 3 days later the water is super clear. The pump is really strong, so I purchased a sponge and cut it in half and zip tied it to the nozzle and it worked perfectly.

I bought this for my turtle tank and I have to be honest this was the best I’ve ever seen the tank clear. I wish I would’ve taken a before but I forgot to. But what I can say is as far as being clear it does just that. As far as catching big debris it gets stuck at the back of the filter and doesn’t suck into it which could be a good thing. However the air pump won’t work for me which is a bummer but I have one in there already so I’m not as upset. The filter lets out very fast current so for fish I’d say no don’t get it BUT IF YOU HAVE A TURTLE THIS IS GREAT! And if you struggle with foggy water this is perfect! Just know it is very strong. So after the water clear just turn it off if you have small fish! And purchase a small air pump to have on for your fish.

This was a wonderful filter for a while. It clogs easily and falls apart when cleaning the filter which causes the bulb to fall out.

THIS IS A REMARKABLE FILTER WITH A U-V LIGHT FOR AN AQUARIUM THAT IS HAVING TROUBLE WITH CLOUDY WATER. I WAS HAVING TROUBLE WITH BROWN ALGAE ( WHICH IS NOT A ALGAE AS SUCH ) AND WAS DESPERATE . I HAD TRIED EVERYTHING TO ALLEVIATE THIS PROBLEM SO I DECIDED TO TRY THIS FILTER AND THE RESULT HAS BEEN NOTHING SHORT OF MIRACULOUS. IT TOOK A COUPLE OF WEEKS AND I CLEANED THE FILTER ONCE, BUT NOW THE WATER IS SUPER CLEAR AND MY FISH ARE VERY HAPPY. I HAVE CAT FISH ONLY AND THEY CAN BE MESSY EATERS BUT THIS FILTER DOES A TREMENDOUS JOB. I DO A WATER CHANGE EVERY WEEKEND AND VACUUM THE GRAVEL AND I'M VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT. I AM ALSO NOT OVER FEEDING MY FISH . I EVEN NOW HAVE ANOTHER BABY CATFISH WHO IS HAPPILY SWIMMING AROUND IN MY CLEAR TANK ! GREAT PRODUCT .

I’m impressed with how effective this aquarium filter is. Before using it, I had to change the water in my tank every two weeks to keep it clean. Now, thanks to this filter, I can go over a month without needing a water change. The water stays crystal clear and odor-free for much longer. One of the standout features is the built-in UV light, which helps kill harmful bacteria and keeps the tank environment much healthier for my fish. It’s quiet, powerful, and has made tank maintenance so much easier.

I had a previous version of this and bought a second so called improved. The UV light is difficult to get in place, the bottom of it, which you are blindly putting in, and has to be exactly in the right spot. The sponge filter will need regular cleaning so clumsiness of this is a regular inconvenience. The friction fit of the top to the bottom means you will need to carefully arrange this in the tank or the bottom could fall off? The inlet for the air hose is again a friction fit, and so loose it does not stay in place. And lastly, the air hose they provided is so flimsy it's got kinks, and pinches in it even from shipping. It was frustrating to put together so from an ongoing maintenance point of view it's just not usable IMHO.

Very strong, so be careful where u place it in the tank. Other than that, it's great. Been using it for about 5 months. Easy to clean, comparatively speaking. Does a good job, and the UV does keep the bio residue down. I have a 40 gallon tank and I was finding that some were not oxygenating very good and I would end up with a gross tank. This works well.

Better than expected. Works great powerful air stream and cleans well.
