I've had the OBD2 plug version for a couple months now, amd.it works great. Very accurate, and I like the app. Have not had any issues with down time on this product, and the notifications are pretty much on point. Depending on your model, make sure you have plenty of room around your port. On my son's Hyundai, I had to remove the fuse panel cover. I'm going to buy one on Ebay or from the junkyard to trim and re-cover...but no big deal...

Bought this to keep an eye on one of my cars. It is very simple to plug in, set up on a computer or cellphone. Tracking is very good and accurate. Best part, there is no additional fees after purchase. Plug into your vehicle and monitor its whereabouts in almost virtual time. Highly recommended.

The Moto Watchdog GPS Tracker for Vehicles is everything that it is advertised to be. Just loaded the App, plugged the module into the ODB port (which is very easily accessed on a Mazda CX-5), logged into the App and it was working. It’s hard to believe that there is No Subscription Cost or Monthly Fee. The Real-Time Location Tracking, Mileage Tracking, Speeding Monitoring, Instant Driving Alerts and Route History all works great.

This works great for what I need. I bought two of these for two different vehicles. This lets you know when a vehicle starts, where it goes, the speed of the vehicle, and when it stops. It has more features than I need. The only thing that I don't like is that sometimes the alerts are delayed, and sometimes the location is not 100% accurate. Often times it will say that a car is idle for a couple hours, when I know it's off. Sometimes the patch the vehicle shows is not accurate. For example, it can show a vehicle going through a field or other places that it did not go. However, to not have to pay a monthly fee and to have a really good idea of where your car is at, this device works for me. I use it to track young adults using my vehicles, so I can tell when they leave, and where they go.

Very pleased with this cellular tracker. No hidden fees, no costs after initial purchase. Technical support has been proactive and responsive to multiple questions. Beyond tracking, it logs other activities such as Data Points along the road and your speed at that point of the Route. Towing would also be logged. Nice to see every time the auto engine is started / stopped and how long that duration was. The app has speeding alerts and Email trip summary daily. very accurate information. Multiple OBD adapters can be added to the APP. Installation was super easy as simple as plugging in a power cord to an electrical socket in your house. no tools required. takes a few minutes then drive auto to initialize OBD device. out of 4 units, the only problem was 1 auto has a no room to connect the Adapter to the OBD port and leave the Fuse cover on the dash. I added a low profile extension cable splitter to that port so adapter works and allows for mechanic to also plug in to read any engine codes. 1 Auto is in the repair shop and obviously this cable worked as the MOTO was not removed for them to read engine codes.

They work good ,but the last one only lasted 18months then it started freezing up after about 90 seconds of operation. I like how it works so trying another

The Moto Watchdog Tracker is one of the most frustrating devices I’ve ever used. The concept sounds great — no monthly tracking fees — but the execution is awful. First, you have to pair it with your phone, but the app constantly crashes. If you scroll too fast or tap settings too quickly, the app just shuts down. It’s extremely unstable and feels unfinished. On top of that, the app has serious issues connecting to the actual device. Mine wouldn’t connect properly or even consistently show up on Bluetooth. I literally wasted half a tank of gas driving around trying to get it calibrated and connected. It never worked properly. Customer support is also a nightmare. It takes hours to get any meaningful help, and even then, the solutions don’t fix the core issues. To make things worse, the app doesn’t even have proper vehicle options. I tried adding my 2016 Kia Sportage, and it wasn’t even listed. The only Sportage options were 2013, 2019, and 2024. How does a tracking app not support common model years? Overall, the idea is good, but the product is poorly executed. Unstable app, connection problems, bad vehicle support, and slow customer service. I would not recommend this to anyone. Save your time and money.

I like to wait a few weeks to review a product, and this device and app are amazing. It exceeded my expectations and gives me a great peace of mind. I currently use it to keep track of an elderly family member in case memory loss sets in or if something else might happen. I can do real time tracking, it lets me know when the engine is started or stopped and where, their speed, driving habits... I love it, thank you! Sure it's a little more up front, but it's so much cheaper if you're going to use it for more than a few months. This will give you a lifetime of peace of mind for one low price. It was super simple to get set up, and I haven't had any issues at all with the app. Well done!
