I have another chrono down in the basement that is used for air rifle shooting. Once you start using this little guy, you will instantly be spoiled. Pricey, and worth every penny.

Don't really have anything negative to say about this device. Captures muzzle velocity very well, it's easily configurable and user friendly.

I wish I had this years ago when I started reloading. It’s ridiculously simple to set up and start using. No longer will I have to spend 20 minutes setting up my old chronograph to get readings at the range. A lot of times I had to wait for other shooters just so I could set up my old chronograph. With this one, I just turn it on, select my firearm and hit ok, point it at my target and start collecting my shooting data. The app is also nice, although not as good as Caldwell’s. I miss not being able to add a picture of my target to go with the shooting string. The other thing I miss is not having the weather data during the session. Maybe they can add that to the app in the future. Overall I’m very impressed with the product.

For the price I was hoping for better out of Garmin. I always buy their products, but this is not the wow factor I normally get from their products. Battery life is short so figure on recharging with every use. Best I can log with it is about 100 rounds. App works well if you don;'t let the battery run down, but if you do well they won't log. Also it is pretty light and the tripod is pretty lame. If you use it on a windy day expect for it to keep blowing over. And it can be picky about which shots it logs and how fast you shoot.

While this system is expensive, it is super easy to use and as far as I can tell, very accurate. I had a bayonet style system prior to this one and this product is so much easier to use and you do not have to attach anything to the barrel that may impact your accuracy. If you are on the fence about purchasing, do it...you won't regret it.

This is my 3rd chrono, and it's the 1st one that hasn't missed any shots or given false readings. Works great and very convenient
