When I first heard of Attack on Titan, I was expecting the greek titans jeje I was wrong with that, The titans are more human like, with the thirst for blood, they will eat anyone who gets in their way (or at least most of them will). The anime can get very intense at times with top notch action scenes! It does get a little slow in some episodes, but it was nothing that made me want to stop watching it. The Japanese voice acting is really good, and while the dub is not as good as the subs, it's still good, for those who prefer the dubbed versions. The animation is different from what I have seen before, the characters outlines are thicker than most anime, but I really like that. Character development is not great, but still good, with the main character (Eren) being sorta 1 dimensional... The anime can be really gory and brutal at times, so I wouldn't recommend it to little kids... Overall, it's a good anime, plot and story are done well, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes action/adventure anime. Part 2 Limited edition+ Artbox: Part 2 limited edition is pretty much build the same as part 1, with different pictures, interviews, information on titans and such. The artbox holds both parts, Limited edition Part 1 and part 2 and they both fit perfectly in it. The box is made of cardboard (like a lot artboxes), but it's sturdy, so you don't have to worry about it bending easily. On the spine and top, it only has the name of the anime, and in the back it has the face on a titan. I recommend buying this edition ONLY if you're a big fan of this anime and or like collecting limited editions and such. Between part 1 and 2 limited edition, it would cost you well over $100 bucks, which is not really worth it, if you just like it, and want to own it. For you guys, I recommend the regular edition which goes for about $60 bucks for both parts. I will upload some images so you could checked out, if you guys want to see how it looks. Review: support them if you canwatch it, support them now - multiple themes of human conditions and events causing people to turn on each other as well as stronger people working to keep everyone safe, and these strong people are spread out, helping the young and weaker humans to learn how to get along and cooperate in times of limited resources as well as fighting propaganda against a unknown enemy that causes endless fear, they are faced with a government that hides from the sudden and brutal facts that thier civilization is being devoured alive, they ignore the facts that what has protected them for over a century is failing. they have continuued to try to tax without properly overseeing the needs of the people, useing the meatgrinder to lower the population and prevent starvation when they lost thier major expanse of farms and cities, leaving only the other half the empire to feed the survivers and those not yet exposed to the horrors of a enemy who doesnt see people as an enemy, simply as a chance to escape, and i will not say more then that, because spoilers. Throw your money at them, support them if you can watch it, support them now, because i didnt support them or watch them until recently, but in three days i saw both seasons through binging, its amazing, and its epic, and the costs of animating are enormous, the time to animate is so long a season can take several years, so help them if you like quality worthwhile storys that are not available on american tv, buy seasons of the anime, manga or just watch them on licensed sources that give them something back, if you can buy a blue ray copy of the seasons, or just a digital copy on desertcart, its sorta worth it as you can share it and help them if you can as animation is costly and the more animaters the bettwer cquality and faster they are done

Annoying practice of selling short animes in parts
To begin, my five star rating is a reflection of the show, and not of the box set, which i suppose could seem backwards from what it should be. Honestly though if you are considering buying this then chances are you are already a fan, or have seen this amazing show already to the end. In which case we all know just how good it is, and how its story and action, and presentation flow, and really break the mold of many modern day anime. I can guarantee that having this in your collection will not be a bad thing, and the re-watchability to the show is great. Music: 5 Story: 5 Characters: 5 Action/Animation: 10!! Now we come to what we are all actually purchasing, "and yes I have this pre ordered like many of you will too"...And that is part 2 box set." why you wouldn't get this on blu-ray is beyond me". What I have come to expect, and realize is that its all about money/business. In short anime like this one, that only last 25 episodes they are always cut in half and sold separately to maximize profit. Then a year down the road Funimation will undoubted release a "complete collection" that has, ironically, the complete first season which was always a complete first season to begin with, that they just so happened to split in half and sell separately to us. The anime AOT season 1 is 24 episodes, and was never broken up when it originally aired. So that is why my rating for this box set is... Part 2 blu-ray set: 2 For huge fans of the series you will most likely get this any way, but I just know i will have the urge to get the "full" set when it comes out in a year with all 24 episodes. Damn business practices, and no i don't beleive for a second that this is because they didn't have all 24 episodes dubbed yet. That is certainly not the case.

AWESOME anime adventure! Part 2 was better than part 1! I can't wait for more! I suspected there were more titan/humans. The inside job aspect was cool and added some good old fear to the show. The body count piling up makes you start to really hate the person controlling the titan. Its well done, you connect with the characters, you can't stop watching episode after episode until its all over and you are left wanting MORE! Best anime series since Ghost In The Shell but much easier to follow. Why are you still reading this? BUY IT!!!
