A great value compared to the Olympus version of this same attachment. I have owned both, and I find no drop off of performance with the JJC attachment compared to the Olympus. It fits the camera just as well as the Olympus

Even though they are primarily action/sports cameras, the Olympus Tough TG5,6 and 7 all have outstanding macro capability. Why? - I don't know, but they do. Since my wife is more into flowers and insects as opposed to white-water rafting, buying this flash, at what seemed a ridiculously low price, extended the use of my cameras. Very easy to use - replace the lens ring with this, done, and it works well. I'll probably buy a couple more. (I'll post some photographs of insects and flowers when I return to Montenegro.)

Definitely makes your macro pics brighter. Plan on using this on my flower pics in the spring. Not much to it, put it on and turn til it clicks.

Does what it supposed to do and cheaper than the original

Works just like the OEM one, but it a fraction of the price. Good quality, good value. Keep in mind this is not going to be as bright as the real flash. This is just to illuminate very close-up objects more evenly. Do not use this product with the Flash. Easy to use very versatile for macro photography.

The 'ear' does not flush against the camera, and it leaks light. The image taken is much brighter on left side than the rest.

Direction on site confusing. It sasy look for application settings in menu. Could not find applications settings in menues. Was able to activate without opening menu. Like the two levels of flash. Better than built in flash
