The ironing board, is stable, sturdy and does not move or shake when ironing, BUT, i would like to share something different about the ironing board, I did not notice at purchase. I am a "quilter". This ironing board has exactly one inch squares, and the lined squares are 1/8 " apart. most sewers will know what I am talking about. I am not sure the dimension's and squares were the intention of the makers of the cover , BUT, if you SEW this ironing board is for YOU. I just love the additional help. When I go to flatten a seam, I check, if it is straight and exactly as I need it to be.

Great ironing board, and the checkered cover makes it nice to look at. Easy to set up and take down, and I appreciate the iron holding tray located at the end of the board.

I am only giving it four stars because I cannot get rid of the tray on the back of the ironing board. Otherwise it’s the right height, it’s the right size, I needed an ironing board because I needed to press some shirts for work. And I like a higher Ironing board. I really didn’t have to install anything, it came out of the box. It fits the basement where I have space for it. It’s lightweight enough that I can pick it up and move it where I need to to plug in the iron . Now, if I could just get rid of that tray on the back, I’d be extremely happy.
