My old fridge was starting to work a little harder, so the appliance "doctor" suggested, for one, that I make sure there is easy air flow inside. I used to place small items on plates (in the fridge), so they wouldn't tip over, but then I got these cookie racks and used them to make a shelf that still allowed air flow, in fridge and freezer (instead of plate). Very useful for that! I'm sure they're great for their intended baked-goods-cooling properties but I'm using them to keep the fridge air cool!

Kind of flimsy, but they will work for cookies or cupcakes. Would not use with glass pans or a Dutch oven.

Good product. I actually use as drying racks for finishing wood products..
