This product is really outstanding!! Being a discerning customer who is stringent on quality I often find I am disappointed with over exaggerated manufacturers claims and expectations usually fall well short upon delivery. However, this product will absolutely blow you away!! The quality and build are something which have to be seen to be believed. The attention to detail right from the careful packaging to the quality of the product itself is absolutely first class. The product is very strongly built with quality metal and the design and attention to detail is incredible. The solar panel and fittings are of equally superb quality. The thought and level of detail in design is absolutely amazing, and even includes quality fitments to enable mounting for every option available. The bracket is made of sturdy ‘Welded’ metal and the whole thing oozes quality. The camera itself is amazing quality and even the night time pictures are incredible in detail. It even doubles up as a security camera to keep any eye on my back garden. Set up is a breeze with the very inclusive step-by-step instructions along with voice guidance at each step. The App is also brilliant and offers so many options, you can set alarms and lights to come on to ward away those pesky squirrels and even talk to them via the in-built speaker. I really can’t recommend this product enough, yes some will say it is expensive but believe me you definitely get what you pay for and this is a top of the range product which will give you years of pleasure, so go on and treat yourself and your neighbourhood feathered friends!! Trust me you will not be disappointed!!

Great little feeder + camera. The range of the wifi is ok, we have it about 10m away from the router inside the hosue, and it shows medium signal. Connects just fine. The quality of videos is really good, and I love the feature that recognises the birds that come in. A lot of food comes inside the box, so only have to top it up every 2 weeks or so. Generally we love it, great value for money and so much fun exploring the wildlife from our garden up close.

This was bought after watching a number of reviews on different camera bird feeders. And after watching those it was felt that this was one of the best due to its sturdiness, capacity, quality manufacturing and not to mention it's ease of use and great price. It arrived so quickly and I was able to put it up extremely quickly also. The WiFi signal works well, however it does seem to need a good line of sight to your router etc to maintain a strong signal. Although if this is maintained it will not lose it easily. It's construction is very sturdy and your tell this by its weight and how it does not feel flimsy. As far as cleaning is concerned, I've not had to yet because it's genuinely not needed it. I personally love the green one that I have as it fits with much of what is painted a similar colour in my garden but the colour does not impact the functionality whatsoever...the birds, and you will love it regardless. I cannot comment on the solar panel addition yet as where I am in Scotland has had almost perpetual cloud cover However I would say that it takes very little to take it down overnight and charge it inside. (If it's raining I would recommend taking the solar panel inside too so the cabling doesn't get wet also.) This will give you an opportunity to assess it cleanliness and need for refilling. I highly recommend this camera feeder!!

Charge up on removal from box, I have attached to an extendable twist grip pole! Fittings are top quality, so is construction, solar panel to be attached soon. Camera is good and app is easy to use, choosing and saving vidros is a breeze In the second photo there is a Sparrowhawk, sensor did not pick it up, (good job it came while I was at the window) but does register the feeders just in front of the tree Looks like I need a second camera!

Really glad I bought this smart bird feeder from Solium. Very good build quality. Metal casing which should stop the squirrels from chewing and recking this bird feeder. Really easy to install and get the feeder up and running. Video quality very good Battery life excellent. Bird identify seems spot on upto now. Definitely recommended if your looking for a smart bird feeder.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago. Was really easy to set up. Feeder part takes a very large amount of seed so no need to keep refilling. Camera is great. Love being able to share the camera with others. Amazing how many birds visit the feeder throughout the day

So, I'm not a fan of this bird feeder at all, and I don't at all understand the praise it gets. The camera is, quite frankly, rubbish. Don't misunderstand me, it works, it does record, but it's so zoomed in (due to the position of the camera relative to the feeding tray itself) that it's more bird-face (or with larger birds, bird-breast) than holistic bird. The recordings are also 'bite-sized', and can clip the beginning and end of birdie interactions (and even entire middle chunks) and events. It's also not the most intuitive user interface, but it's serviceable. Without delving into this at length about how the cloud aspect of it works in conjunction the SD-card, suffice it to say that neither is perfect. The nature of battery-operated and solar-charged cameras is that they try awfully hard to be used as little as possible so that they can charge and store sufficient energy to maintain operation. So don't expect much. Annoyingly, there are far better battery-operated and solar-charged cameras from other vendors (here's looking at you, TP-Link). They work much better and are substantially more user-friendly and broad in the features they provide, but they're also limited by their batteries, so don't expect miracles (though they are far better-suited to being set up for motion detection in a small space, like a bird feeder). The one 'good' thing about this bird-feeder is that it is *very* solid and sturdy. But that's the only real praise I can dish out to it. While consideration was taken for the feed tray, and drainage holes provided to help rain pass through, the 'accessories' don't stand up to anything larger than a sparrow. The suet ball holder is easily knocked out; as is the water dispenser. What is the point of them? And though I suspected as much, it doesn't in any way, shape or form baffle the larger birds--magpies have a field day with this thing. All-in-all, I wouldn't recommend this. At all. Get a bird-feeder you actually want, then buy a proper camera and mount it nearby. You'll be doing yourself a huge favour and saving yourself a great deal of disappointment.
