The new pencil sharpener is perfect. My 4 & 6 year olds can use it easily. It does not eat the pencil or colored pencil like my last "new" pencil sharpener and it does not have to be recharged a bunch. I am very happy that my Aunt who was a art teacher recommended it. I am a 3rd grade teacher and this pencil sharpener is a game changer. After my first year of teaching, I never allowed my students to sharpen their own pencils because they would push pencils in too far or too long. This sharpener does the work for the student and sharpens for the perfect amount of time. Pencils come out perfectly sharp, and it is a cute addition to my classroom.

He's our second one, the first one was great and worked for a long time, some reason it just stopped working, we tried charging it but still didn't work, so decided to get a new one. I love that you can choose how pointy you want your pencil to be.

There are two teachers in our household and we love these sharpeners. They are great for hands free sharpening. They sharpen very well and it’s great that you can adjust how sharp to make the pencil, especially if you’re working with little kids. I love that it’s chargeable so I can carry it around the room with me and sharpen while kids are working on their bell ringer. My only warning: don’t let kids use it unless you can show them exactly how to do it. Many times a pencil tip has been broken off and I have had to dig it out. It lasted for about a year or so being used daily on hundreds of pencils. We have bought multiple.
