Fits 1996 Ford Bronco
Works in my 1996 Ford Bronco. It does flash faster than the old one (that would work sometimes) but new one works everytime.

Louder clicker works great on older car.
I use this on a 27 year old chevy caprice that runs rather well but does not have the soundproofing of a modern auto. Big low compression small block. Gear heads know the turf. The turn signal does not auto return anymore and I didn't feel like pulling the steering wheel to replace the switch. I got this as a louder clicker for the turn signal to remind me that the signal is "on." Works absolutely great!!! Runs the lights perfectly, but speaks to me over the engine and driving noise. Thanks for a wonderful product....if I let a mech do the turn signal it would cost about 350 - mostly labor, even without an airbag. If I do it myself, it's a pain and takes time. This was the best solution and the price was nada. Besides, it has mechanical reality that blends well with an older car. I also have a Prius, but it's too quiet; spooky quiet at times. I also can't mech play with the Prius because of the gigantic battery and sealed system, but the Chev is all metal.

Fit my 01 camaro
Fit my 01 camaro turn signal relay. I was having trouble with turn signals not flashing or sometimes intermediately flashing with Led bulbs in the front half of the car, read about this EL12 online for Led's in front or rear (only half the car) this would work and it has worked for me. Also read for Led's front and rear you need a different relay, a no load flasher relay. Time will tell how long it will last

Easy fix to enable use of LED turn signals
When upgrading from incandexcent bulbs to LED, and when you turn them on the turn signal is erratic/fast/or simply does not flash, you can fix the problem by adding ballast resistors to each of the four bulb locations or you can do what i did. I bought two of these heavy duty LED compatible flashers in place of my old units. when i put in the first unit, the fourway flasher, it worked perfectly. Then i replaced the turn signal flasher and was disappointed that the turn signal were erratic, Slightly sad that this did not work for turn signal, i read some blogs about others experiences with the units. One suggestion was to try the good working flasher in the turn signals. i moved that workiing flasher from the 4 way terminal to the turn signal location and tried the turn signals again This time they worked erfectly. Moved the other flasher to the four way terminal and it worked there where it would not in the turn signal . Bottom line is the both four way and turn signals are working perfectly SO FAR. Cheap fix i fit works out and much easier than ballast resistors.

Nice HD Flasher for old truck towing a boat.
Great heavy duty flasher. I have an older Ford truck and a small fishing boat, and when I hooked up my truck to the trailer (2 bulb lights on the trailer), the trailer lights would blink really fast, as if there was a bulb burned out somewhere on the rigs. Nothing was burnt out. But unplugging the trailer, the turn signals would flash normally. Doing a little research, I found that I needed a heavy duty flasher, (item bought). That fixed the problem immediately. All my turn signals now flash like normal. Took all of 3 minutes to swap out the part. Please note that some trucks have a different relay for the emergency flashers from the turn signal (as mine does). If when you turn your hazards on - you see them flashing too fast, then you need to replace that relay. However I wasn't experiencing that issue, but my turn signals were having issues. Overall very pleased with this flasher.

May not work as you expect it to
As a general rule, I read at least several reviews to get a better sense of the product from the buyers side, instead of the sellers side. I researched this product thoroughly before purchasing it and I read all the reviews. The first Tridon EL12 Flasher I received had loose parts rattling around inside. I contacted the seller, returned it and was sent another. I installed it but it still didn't work. Partly because I was given wrong information on the placement of two in-line diodes which were installed in the circuit. That was corrected. Nevertheless, the 2nd Tridon Flasher was deemed defective and I bought a new one. Now this one (the THIRD TRIDON FLASHER!) doesn't work as it should. It is designed for low load applications. When I have ONLY LEDs in all the turn signal sockets, it doesn't flash! I must put one incandescent on each side for it to have enough load to flash. This is for a motorcycle application. I am modding a Honda Rebel CMX250 to have LED turn signals. This flasher is supposed to replace the resistance-based flasher. That would allow very low load LEDs to operate in the light sockets. This flasher did not perform as expected. I still have to have 2 incandescent lights in my rear turn signals to get the unit to flash properly. I am not happy with that. I have gone to great lengths to research, a lot of forum discussion and even hired a mechanic to help me with this. It should have worked. I also called superbrightleds.com and spoke to a tech. He told me this is the correct flasher. The turnsignal circuit is a very simple circuit. There really isn't much to it. The bike i am working on has limited electrical power and i wanted to mod with other electrical devices. This may work out for you. Just be aware that you may also spend a lot of time trying to figure why it won't work!

Turn signal would just stay on when I was signalling. Bought this and it fixed it right away. Now my signals work perfect. Highly recommended.

Bought this for repairing a friends old van and chose it because it was reasonably priced, and in stock, and shipping time was important. Happy with the purchase!
