Stop paying those high prices to have your dog trimmed. If you have a dog with hair that needs to be trimmed as the seasons change, these clippers will make your job easier. I have a "Chiranian" (Chihuahua/Pomeranian), and this dog has crazy hair, it changes texture four times from his head to his tail. Every winter his hair around his waist grows out and it looks like he is wearing a "TUTU". He is also afraid of his own shadow, so any noise gets him all nervous. I purchased a battery powered clipper because the "experts" at Petco said it was the best model available. Apparently, they have not tried that clipper before, the battery lasts half of a small dog, not cool unless you feel like laughing at your dog until the battery recharges. These WALH clippers work great, they are extremely quiet, sharp, and blaze through hair with no issues. My dog actually sat still the whole time, a first for him, and everytime I turned the clippers off he just sat there, looked back at me with that "more please" look, and seemed HAPPY. Had the cordless WAHL which is great.My dog didn't like the cordless near his ears or paws.Decided to give this Ultra Quiet corded version a try. Wow what a difference! Trimming near ears and paws and the dog hardly flinched.Initially it sounded noisy but when I oiled the blades with standard motor oil, the trimmer noise was hardly noticeable.

Only used once, less than a minute and stopped cutting. Cutter blade won't remain attached to the oscillating arm. Also too loud to use near a pets head.

It’s a nice size to take along. It’s not real strong but it can clip out bad spots on a cat if not too snarled up. Well worth while to have around

so I bought these because because we needed to replace our old wahl product I think the price is a little steep, but the quality is definitely worth it. Very durable easy to use. We have a border collie that we groom and he seems to be fine with it. It’s very low noise And cuts really well so far we’ve only used it one time when we got it, but it did great job with his thick coat no heat coming from unit when you are using it

PSA, pkg was missing brush & oil but included apology QR code for no oil due to some retailers restricting the liquid. The QR directs you an additional purchase on Wahl’s site for 2.00. I missed this in the Amazon details so maybe some will notice the PSA. Been loyal to Wahl for years so i’m confident the product will operate fine, will follow up review on performance. Item is quiet compared to standard clippers but still audible of course. Enough to frighten my skittish dog.

I finally got to use these as we have kept the winter coat on. but the winter code needed to be trimmed a bit. I have. a shih tzu. So his coat is long and needed a trim. can be a bit gnarly. The trimmer. worked great. It has four attachments. and that's enough. The box is heavy-duty. and still has space to put other things in there. It comes with oil. to initially oil the blade. and I was happy about that. So overall I am very happy with this product. And so is my handsome pup.

The media could not be loaded. Guard is loose on the shaver. Shaver heats up a little quicker than I would like.
