Little Rockstars!
I love these Shelly relays! They’re so versatile, easy to install, easy to setup, have a great user interface within the app & seamlessly integrate into most all smart home eco systems. I have these little bad boys all over my property. Behind dumb switches to make them smart, behind 1 switch controlling 2 circuits, in line w my outdoor lighting old school timing box (to make it smart) so that when i lose power, i don’t have to manually go out there & change the time. I have them behind stadium light switches to monitor the power, make sure the lights aren’t left on for too long & to control them from anywhere. I even figured out how to use a shelly 2pm to control the motor function of pool cover! now I can automate the cover opening before my waterfalls/slides run their automatic flush cycle everyday and have it wait 10 minutes & close the cover again. All of that done automatically without me doing a darn thing! Pretty frickin cool! And they’re so inexpensive to boot! Can’t say enough good things about these bad boys. If you have a need or problem to solve that traditional circuitry, switches or plugs can’t handle, i bet some creative thinking and a Shelly can do the trick!

Good price, reliable little smart relay.
Love these little relays. Works using the internet, put a backup on your router for power outages, you'll never lose internet and the relay will always work on schedule. I use it for controlling a water pump to empty my aerobic system. Never have to question whether it will work. My old analog timer was always going out. $50 to replace every 2 years. Now, these little relays are half the cost, and I hope last longer. I've had this one for about 6 months now. Working flawlessly.

Control and monitor with Home Assistant
I love the Shelly brand because the devices are open and can work without cloud, which is how I have it -- connected to Home Assistant. Full functionality including firmware upgrades are supported. In my case there is an indoor dimmer which controls outside lights. I wired the pm mini so the dimmer and lights were behind it and placed it into the dimmer's outlet box. I then connected it to the wifi and then Home Assistant picks it up. From there I put in an automation to turn on lights at sunset and off at 11:30pm. The power monitoring is a bonus for me and wasn't a reason why I bought it, but now I know my lights use 0.05 kWh each day, a fraction of a penny of electricity cost. The other benefit of the power monitoring is the dimmer is in the basement where it's not easily accessible, I can manipulate the dimmer and see the power usage and guesstimate how bright the lights are. I only had to set them once though. You might ask why I didn't use Shelly's awesome dimmer. Well, I did. But the LED lights are the 24 VAC kind and whatever transformer is on there caused them to blow up (as in pop and smoke) 2 Shelly dimmers at which point I just kept the old, non-digital dimmer and used this Shelly as a switch.

Tasmota flashable
Works as expected. It is flashable with Tasmota (for those who are interested in that).

Makes automation easy
This is a tiny little unit for home automation. It fits neatly inside a back box and lets you control things from your phone. You can also use a variety of other tools (Alexa, Google etc) to control it by voice but I don't bother with that stuff. Installation is easy. It has three inputs - live/neutral/switch and one output. Live and neutral are obvious, and if you want to use it in conjuction with a switch the live coming from the switch goes into the switch input on this unit. Then the output from this unit is connected to the load. It will connect to 14ga wires. I have two of these, one connected to a power socket (with no switch feed) and one lurking in the box behind a light fitting powered by three-way switches. The power socket operates with a simple on/off that I set up with a timer The light is set up so that the Shelly effectively acts as a four-way switch. If I flick either of the switches the light toggles, and if I operate the Shelly I can turn the light on or off. You can also set it up so that the switch will operate normally - this means that if the switch state doesn't match the Shelly state you have to flick the switch twice to toggle the light (e.g. if the switch is off and the Shelly is on then the light is on - if you turn the switch on the light stays on and when you turn the switch off the light goes off). Where a lot of smart switches require a neutral wire, this unit can be installed behind the switch or behind the light, so if you have a switch loop you can still use it. I'm wishing I'd found these before I installed other smart switches.

Worked as Advertised...
Wanted to control with Python. Not supported... Should have done more research. HOWEVER it works great as advertised. Easy setup with App.

Fantastic relay with extra features!
Love that this unit is feature packed. Want to use Bluetooth only? No problem. Wifi only using its own local web interface? No problem. Both? Sure. Integrate with Home Assistant? You betcha. Locally instead of cloud integration? Yes! This unit is not only smaller than the regular 1PM, it can handle/use 12AWG wire, something the 1PM regular sized model cannot (which is mind boggling - why can the mini, which can only handle 8A, handle 12AWG wire, but the 1PM UL, which can handle 15A, mandate 14AWG?). A pre-me-buying-it-unknown factoid that was an amazing addition was the ability of the relay to function as a bluetooth controller over Wifi. Meaning, if this is integrated into Home Assistant or some other application, you can use this to control Bluetooth Low Emissions (BLE) devices. My only quibble about Shelley, in general, is that their cloud-based remote control application (which you don't "have" to use) does not understand the concept of multiple residences. Instead, you must group relays/Shelley devices by "rooms" which may or may not make sense for your application.

Gracias Shelly!
