They took the place of a pair that the plastic ends melted in very hot water

Well, I use these great tongs in my small kitchen for frying meats. A great value for the money and comfortable; along with a great grip and quality construction. They are beefy, so I guess they can up to a dishwasher. Great Color.

These are pretty good, they just have more narrow opening than other tongs. But comfortable to grip, easy to clean, pick things up and put them down, work like tongs, just smaller grasp. Used them for salad so just had to work a little harder to toss

Bought these February 21...they busted in October. They should have lasted more than 8 months. The rivet that holds the whole thing together broke. More typical cheap Chinese garbage. $28.75 shot in the rear end. Look someplace else for a different pair.

Great Quality. Good Value. I do not wash any wooden utensils in the dishwasher by choice.

I read online on many websites that natural wood should barely get lighter when bleached with household bleach, but this one changed color drastically when I dipped it in bleach, which would suggest the use of dyes, which websites also say are not safe to eat. It's also true that it's unfinished, so food is going to get stuck in the coarse areas of the tongs and most likely rot there
