Fox Run Madeleine Pan, Tin-Plated Steel, 12-Molds

I know you're probably debating whether to purchase the nonstick pan or this shiny silver pan. I mulled it over for about a day before finally deciding on this pan, and I don't regret it one bit. At this time, the nonstick pan is $5 more, however the silver pan is not any "stickier". I spray a little Baker's Joy in the pan and they slide right out. Even if you're making a double batch and want to use this pan twice, then it wipes clean between each batch without a hitch. Plus, if you think the silver pan is prettier, it has a little cutout to hang it on the wall as art!

I am blessed with two daughters who love to cook and bake. You just cannot make proper Madeleines without the right pan. This pan is wonderful and gives you perfect results every time. My daughter is very happy to finally get a Madeleine pan!

I really love these pans. I just made a batch of madeleines and they came out perfect. Golden crisp on the outside and with the classic madeleine humps. Beautiful. I buttered them really well, put them in the fridge while the madeleines chilled, for about an hour and a half, then filled them and straight into a preheated, hot oven they went. Clean up was a breeze. I just let them sit under water for a minute and with a sponge and soap wiped them clean. No scrubbing necessary. Not a cookie stuck! The only drawback, slight imperfection on craftsmanship. While washing I grabbed one of the pans from the bottom and felt a sharp pain on my finger. I saw that I had a long deep cut. I found that one of the ends had not been curled properly and this was the culprit. Be careful when handling. I'll just take a pair of pliers and finish the job myself. Anyhow, great pans!!! Chicago Metallic 26631 12-Cup Nonstick Madeleine Pan not impressed with this product difficult to insert into the oven and even harder to remove;needed to use tongs to pull the pans from oven.difficult to remove enough to be able to use pads. would rather if the had sides as do muffin tins.

I just received and used these pans for Gluten free madeleines. They were perfect! Just be sure to grease and flour the pans well (I mixed rice flour with melted butter and brushed on) and the madeleines will pop right out. Must wash by hand and dry well to prevent rusting to keep them in perfect condition (the pans, not the madeleins :-)

My family loves madeleines but never made them because I needed the right pan. I followed Julia Child's recipe and made sure all the molds were well buttered. I tried the flour-butter paint and plain butter paint and they both gave excellent results. I would recommend these pans to anyone!Great pans+easy recipe=wonderful madeleines!!

I changed my mind. I left a bad review because I thought it's not as good as the other Fox Run Madeleine pan. But I used both for a while now and I think this one is better. I can make more light and soft madeleine with this one. Of course, they stick on to the pan once they're baked. But it happens to every baking pan. So,, well. It's a good pan.
