My cousin's son had a roller backpack for their 4 year old son and we thought it was time to get one for our son as well. As soon as this backpack came home my son was in love with it. He would put all his toys in his backpack and would say that he (and her sister) are going to the airport. With that said, we had our first round trip flight with this and he rolled the backpack as soon as we got to the airport and onto and off the plane. His backpack was heavy as he put a lot of toys in it and his iPad. Even with the weight he had no issues rolling it as the wheels are really smooth which make it easier to roll. The handle is adjustable (he uses the highest one) so you can adjust based on your child's height/preference. This backpack has quite a bit of space as well so it is great for traveling. Overall we love it!
