Must-Have Griddle for Any Kitchen
This cast iron cooking griddle has quickly become my go-to for everything from pancakes and bacon in the morning to burgers and steaks at night. It arrived pre-seasoned, so I could start cooking right away, and the nonstick coating works surprisingly well—food releases easily, and cleanup is quick. The flat top grill design gives me a large, even-heating surface with no annoying hot or cold spots. It’s perfect on my stovetop, in the oven, or even over the fire when camping. The heavy-duty construction feels like it will last for decades, and the sturdy side handles make it easy to move (even though it’s nice and hefty, as cast iron should be). I love how versatile it is—whether I’m making breakfast for the family, searing meat, or cooking veggies, it handles it all beautifully. And the more I use it, the better the seasoning gets, adding even more flavor to my meals. If you want a reliable, long-lasting piece of cookware that works indoors and outdoors, this is it. Fantastic quality for the price. Highly recommend!

Bought this for our vintage gas stove...
I recently purchased this griddle for our new (to us) 1950s Era Dixie gas apartment stove. We got the non-ceramic version, and so far, we are loving how well it cooks. Since it is too large to season in any of our ovens, we used avocado oil to do its initial seasoning on the stovetop. We bought a 20" apartment range specifically for a dedicated griddle top, and it sits beside our 1970s Kenmore gas range, so we knew we might have to have a griddle top custom-built to our specifications, but when we found this one, we thought we would use it as a trial to see how we liked it. The griddle is 20" wide, and fit the range perfectly, but is too shallow to use all four burners as effectively as we would wish. A lot of heat leaks out the back side, since its 16" depth is just barely big enough to cover the rear burners. Another feature we like is the raised side on the side and rear of the griddle, along with handles to lift it up. for draining grease from the catch tray, which is across the whole front - another selling feature for us. Some of the custom carbon steel griddles we looked at before this purchase had a single hole for grease drainage, and we preferred the front tray. The major downside we have discovered is that the whole griddle has to be lifted off and tilted over a bowl to drain the grease when cooking anything remotely fatty like burgers, bacon, or sausage. We ordered a separate grease drip pan online, and plan to drill a 1/4" drain hole in the bottom of the grease tray on the griddle, which will allow the grease and oil to drain off the side without lifting the griddle and tilting it. Ultimately, I think we will continue experimenting with ideas for our indoor set-up, and likely will replace this griddle with a custom one once we can afford to have a machine shop fabricate one to our specs which will fit our stove range exactly. In the meantime, this griddle is definitely serving its purpose for our family of eight, and will be super handy for taking camping and using either on a firepit, or on our large, two-burner camp stove. Its 5/16" cast iron heats very evenly, with no warping, and creates a nice sear on meat, as well as cooking good griddle cakes. A lot of reviews of other custom griddles made of carbon steel complain about warping from heat, but we have had zero issues with this one. The price was a good value for money, and it seems to season very well, with minimal sticking. It is extremely sturdy, and is small enough to stand up on end and wash in a kitchen sink if you wanted to - which I don't, since it's seasoned cast iron, and cleans perfectly with a few ice cubes on the hot surface. I got a flat griddle scraper which also is fantastic for cleaning it. The casting has curved edges on the sides and back, and scraping food and excess oil off it is a breeze. Like all cast iron, it is prone to rusting if not seasoned properly, and I will probably get out the camp stove soon, and thoroughly season the bottom of it as well. I think this would probably work excellently as designed for a rectangular grill, which we don't have, so I freely confess we are using it as an improve on the stove top. Since our four burners share a common grate, it sits nice and level on the top, but I'm not sure how it would work on a flat glass top or ceramic range. It works very well on our gas range setup. This feel like it will last forever, and could be a heirloom piece if treated with care. It is sizable enough that storing it in a kitchen may be difficult, however, since we plan on keeping it in use on the stovetop, that isn't an issue with us. It *is* heavy (come on, it's *supposed* to be; it's cast iron), but that keep it well in place on the stove with no shifting about, even when vigorously scraping it clean. The handles are nice, but my wife says it's heavy for picking up to drain the grease, hence the earlier modification for the auxiliary drip pan. Pros: Good value for money, seasons well, has deep splash guard and nice handles. Easy to clean on the stove top, and 320 square inch (16x20) actual cooking surface is plenty sizable for a large family. Versatile for indoor or outdoor cooking. Heats evenly without warping. Cons: Inconvenient to store, and is heavy (for a woman) to lift in front of her and tip to drain the grease tray, particularly while it's hot. Handles add 3" to total length, meaning it doesn't fit in some ovens (like ours) for easy (and smokefree) seasoning.

Heavy duty!
I decided to buy this grill top instead of an expensive Blackstone grill that would add another grill to the gas grill we already have. And this purchase was a great decision! This is an amazingly well-made cast iron grill griddle. We can use it on our outdoor grill or our indoor gas range. It cooks/grills bacon and eggs, pancakes, shrimp (or other) skewers, veggie stir-fry, steaks, etc, perfectly. It has a ready nice coating on it that keeps food from sticking. It's heavy, but that's what makes it so effective. We love this grill top!

Works great on the gas grill
Delivered fully seasoned and ready to go. Nice and heavy and has even heat sitting on top of my Weber Genesis grill. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for the fallowing. The cooking surface is somewhat rough so I see the potential for sticking with some foods. The grease catcher was full after a pound of bacon and one pound of smash burgers. Not a big deal since I was on the grill outside but could be an issue in the kitchen. All and all very satisfied with this griddle.

Perfect Blackstone alternative
Love this thing. It fits our grill perfectly. Was toying with buying a Blackstone but didn't want another grill on the patio. Seasoned it up straight out of the box and made steak fajitas. They were amazing and it was easy to clean!

Flat top
Other than being a little heavy the product is great! It's already pre-seasoned and food doesn't stick to it.

The 25” x 16” fit my Broil King 440 perfectly, about 1” gap on the sides and 2" on front / back. Sprayed a little Pam before our cooks, only need two of the four burners on medium settings to cook bacon, home fries, eggs or sausages. Then hot soapy water and a nylon scrubber after it cooled a little, rinse with water and it looks new again. Surface is large enough to cook everything and keep it all warm until all is done. We use this more than our new LP gas grill / smoker combo now, the only negative is the front grease collector is too small. I just keep using paper towel and collect grease as I am cooking if needed, I recommend this product.

Love it!!! Fits my 4 Burner BBQ perfectly. Way easier to clean than the stainless steel one I use to have. Just heat up and squirt water on to loosen food particles then use a scraper. Wipe down with paper towels and apply a thin coat of vegetable oil or oil of your choice to keep from rusting. Awesome for Smash Burgers and Philly Cheesesteaks.

We purchased this over buying a dedicated griddle to replace a still functioning and solid gas bbq. Because the grill was still useful and the amount of griddle use would be limited it made sense to try this cast iron griddle on the bbq. It has performed above expectation. My worry of uneven heat on the surface was unfounded. The cast iron spreads the heat evenly so no hot and cold spots are evident. The griddle came Pre-Seasoned but I reseasoned it and we've enjoyed many meals off of it. A well seasoned cast iron griddle is easy to clean up and be ready for use in little time. The surface area of this griddle is perfect for our needs and the only knock I can give it is the shallow grease trough at the front that can fill up pretty quickly but a minor annoyance as sopping up the trough with paper towel drains it pretty effectively. The griddle is heavy as well so transporting it takes some effort but doable if keep nearby the bbq. So we still have a Gass bbq and this griddle provides the ability to use the bbq as a griddle too. With limited space not having two stand alone appliances is a bonus.

So far so good. Only used it once but seems pretty good. Don’t have room for a blackstone on the deck. It also fits on the gas range perfectly so should work well inside to. Grease trough could be a little deeper.

I have used it for hamburgers, eggs, sausage, and pancake and breaded fish so far. Easy to clean and does a better job than my cast iron skillets. Others have said the grease catcher is small but I have had no problems with it. Makes great smash burgers.
