Easy to Read, a Video Would be Helpful
This book was easy-to-read. I wish there were more than just the couple of recipes mentioned. It would be nice if a YouTube video would be created to accompany the descriptions of the workouts and the resistance training exercises for those who are unfamiliar with them. Thank you for all you do to help so many people! :D

Amazingly great
This book has a lot of value information. I am using it to change my life and transform my health. The author is very knowledgeable and I’m excited to work this program.

Amazing
This book is legit revolutionary. I say this as someone who takes extreme caution with health, diet, and lifestyle. I also have experience working in a Vegan Juice bar, which this book had a lot of correlations with the shop's philosophy. He is essentially telling to eat or take cold pressed juices daily. HOWEVER, he advocated that you should use a smoothie (BLENDER NOT JUICER) to get all the fiber. You will be more or less jampacking your blender each day with loads of greens and other nutritious fruits and vegetables. When you eat like this, you will become healthy. He also advocates that you get a healthy amount of omega 3's daily (I use flaxseed oil) and to get almost a gallon of water per day. I purchased this book to help with my health issues of IBD not to get jacked. Personally, once you are eating healthy it will be very easy to put on muscle and become lean at the same time. I have always done sports: Basketball, American football, and now a martial artist. If more Americans thought like the author, people would be much more fit and have less disease.

Enjoyed & an easy read. Some repetitive info and could easily be less pages but the info is solid, informative and anyone can understand and execute this info.

Great basis for healthy living, but no real guidelines
Let me first begin this review by saying that I love what Mr. Tadlock and his wife are doing by promoting a healthy and nutritious lifestyle. I think they've helped many people overcome illnesses and people like myself to take control before illness strikes. As a person who still has weight left to lose, even though I've been following a plant-based diet for a while now, I was excited to buy Mr. Tadlock's new book. I read through it a couple times and have implemented smoothies into my daily life. That being said, the reason I docked this book two stars is because Mr. Tadlock neglects to provide a solid guideline for how to eat for fat loss. He talks about smoothies and recipes, but he never really says how much or when to eat. I've seen many people question that in his Facebook group, so I know I'm not alone. Even in his Q&A video, when someone asked about eating like the example he uses early on in the book (the woman who ate three smoothies a day and two meals), he quickly dismissed the question by saying that was "her plan" and not anyone else's. Unfortunately, most people who buy books like these (myself included), need to have some kind of basic guideline to follow. Otherwise, we're left to muddle along. Mr. Tadlock does not fulfill that requirement in this book. That being said, I would like to see an updated version of this book at some point with better and easier to follow dietary guidelines for the average person. How many smoothies/meals per day? What exactly is a handful of flax/chia (in his Q&A, he maintains it's different per person, but we need a base amount because even my own handfuls can vary).

It's rare and refreshing to find an author who explains their subject in very user-friendly language. Thomas skilfully demystifies the science behind health, nutrition, and fitness. Importantly, he breaks everything down to simple, practical steps for anyone motivated to follow. How wonderful to find someone dedicated to understanding metabolism and willing to share their knowledge, experience (including the odd tasty recipe or two!) to help us get the balance right to improve our own health and well-being. There is something valuable within this concise, well written book for everyone.

Such a gift , very informative, easy read, bringing hope of a healthier lifestyle to all wanting a way to lose weight in a safe way

Once I started reading this book I was hooked. The writing style is very easy to follow and the information comes thick and fast. Some of the techniques I have already found out for myself by mostly trial and error so I know that it works and what Thomas Tadlock states here is 100% true. For one thing I have been vegan for over 3 years and lost almost 4 stone in fat while adding muscle. I will follow what Thomas says to the letter and hopefully accelerate my progress and feel even better. Take the trial and error out of the equation and buy this book. Thomas knows exactly what he's talking about.
