Keeps 'grinding'
This is my second coffee grinder from this company, the first one's container broke after the first use. Seller was very helpful and sent a whole new unit without any trouble at all. The grinder itself is good quality. It has several settings from coarse to fine, so you can set it to how you like. I do find that it does not grind quite as fine as some other grinders, but it does a fantastic job. It is very easy to use and makes grinding coffee beans a breeze and it is also easy to clean. For it's price, it is hard to beat. I have groud many bags of coffee using this grinder and it is still 'grinding' away. It is a bit loud, but it is crushing beans into dust, so that is expected and it does get a little warm after a few minutes of heavy use. Overall it is absolutely worth the purchase.

Love the grinder, love the customer service more
Incredible customer service! Grinder stopped grinding to the right size after about 6 months. Customer service quickly responded to my ticket with trouble shooting videos. With no luck, they issued me a replacement. Super fast response time from them and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Love the grinder too!

Chunks and powder, not a good coffee grinder
Not worth even the low price of entry. This is what's known as a "false" burr grinder that essentially pulverizes the beans randomly as opposed to grinding then in any kind of uniform fashion. Perhaps a tiny step above a blade grinder. It's ends up producing chunks and powder at any setting, which is the worst for coffee. Just spend a little more on at least a conical burr grinder if you're looking to improve your coffee grinding.

Don’t have high expectations and you could be satisfied
I returned this grinder, as it could not go fine enough for my needs (espresso). It wasn’t advertised, so that’s no fault to the grinder, but keep that in mind if you’re upgrading to a burr grinder for espresso like I was. The grinder isn’t too loud and is pretty easy to clean. Build quality looked good and you can hold a decent amount of beans and ground coffee. My main issue is the grind size was inconsistent on finer settings - a lot more boulders than other grinders. It definitely could be a good drip coffee work horse, but if you have specialty needs (French press, pour over, espresso, etc.) you may want to consider an upgrade.

Quiet, powerful, works excellent!
Freakin awesome burr grinder. Chopper blade style for coffee beans don't make for good brewing grounds. This particular type grinds it nice and fine for brewing. 5 scoops beans will make nice strong brew for 10cups water mark on the carafe. Good starting point. Adjustable grind size, quiet, quick. Mine i set between medium and fine, came out perfect in my opinion.

dosnt seem to be good for everyday use
i have used it every day since i got it . bout a month ago. its ok of the price however i was using it today and in the middle of grinding it just stopped. ive had it do this before i took the hopper off and got a jam out brushed it and it went right on but this time nothing. all the safety switches were engaged and everything and it did nothing. if your just gonna use it once in a while it may do just fine

Fine until it wasn’t
Worked great until it didn’t, should have known I would get what I paid for (cheap). Using every 3-4 days for one 1.5 liter batch of cold brew, I’ve had this for just over a year and it now hardly works. It was always very difficult to line up *just right* in order to get it to grind and now it is just randomly stopping in the middle of grinding even while holding it perfectly still. The one saving grace is that the grind size is accurate to where it is set. Investing in a better one.

A Fine Grind(er). A Fine Company.
This is an updated review. Subsequent to my original review of the Kaffe Coffee Grinder, where I found I wasn’t able to get a very fine grind, and certainly not one whose performance aligned with the seller’s description, Kaffe reached out to me. Based on my review, they thought it likely that the machine I received was defective. So, they sent me a brand-new replacement. They were right, and I knew it as soon as I turned on the replacement grinder; it sounded different, more aggressive, if that makes sense. Anyway, the long and short of it is that the replacement Grinder has fully lived up to my expectations, and I am able to get the fine grind that is asserted by the seller. So far, the grinder has been terrific. I use it every morning, and in my opinion, there is no better coffee flavor than fresh ground, right at the time of use. Besides the performance of the Kaffe Grinder, mention should be made of their customer service. They contacted me on their own initiative and, without hesitation, offered to send a replacement. They obviously take pride in their products, reputation and the satisfaction of their customers. Also, I prefer to support, as much as is possible, small privately owned companies, like Kaffe. Based on all of the above, I’ve updated this review to 5-Stars. And thank you to Kaffe for making things right. End of Update. Well, unfortunately, despite my high hopes, the Kaffe Coffee Grinder has turned out to be a disappointment, and for one simple reason: it doesn’t grind very finely. I ordered it initially because I thought its design and aesthetic would work well as a companion to our Ninja coffee maker, and in that respect, it does; they look great together. And in all respects, the machine has the appearance of quality. As the seller asserts, it is simple to use and easy to keep clean. It’s attractive and has a relatively compact footprint. All parts necessary for cleaning are easily removed. This includes the collection bin and its lid, the coffee bin that unscrews to allow for cleaning the grinding blades, and its lid. Despite the fact that the seller states on the point-of-purchase page that the Kaffe Grinder will produce an “espresso-fine” grind, that has always been for my use, almost a powder, it doesn’t grind nearly that fine. And if that is what you’re looking for, this doesn’t appear to be the machine for you. On its finest grind setting, it produces, in my opinion, a drip or pour over grind that is still chunky. The course setting produces bean fragments as large as one-third of a bean. There may be a use for that coarseness, but not one I’ve ever had. Between its coarsest and finest grind there are 19 nicely click-stopped settings, with very little distinction between them; they probably could have gone with just the three marked settings of Fine, Medium and Course. The grind setting is changed using a dial under the bean bin; a feature I like. I use a refillable stainless-steel K-Pod in the Ninja Coffee maker with it set for Espresso, but the coffee maker also has settings for dispensing a regular cup of coffee. When I fill the pod with coffee using the fine grind of the Kaffe Grinder, it produces a fresh, tasty cup of coffee distinctively more flavorful than those produced with pre-ground beans. This makes the machine useful for those who have no need of the very fine grind typically used for espresso. I was really looking forward to the freshly ground coffee the Kaffe Grinder is meant to supply, except it doesn’t appear useable for my purposes. Darn.

This unit works ok for basic drip coffee. Set to the finest setting, the size comes out 4 x larger than esspresso and the size is inconsistent.
