This is really useful. On the job site, there is always the scenario of low light. These eyeball melters are great to use. Simple, with a few power output options for brightness. Added bonus of being able to plug in to the mains too. 20v battery platform. Runs for a long time. And bonus storage case with it. Good job Dewalt.

one of my most used tools. very great quality, the lights itself are heavy. which is great for setting up anywhere. i use the box it comes with more often than i thought i would. holds a lot of tools and just clips right into the box. can’t live without it.

As a remodeling contractor I began using the Tough System 2.0 this last spring. After a full work season of use, adding different size boxes and accessories to be versatile enough for the various tasks required, everything from demo to roughing to hanging rock to finish work, this is a fantastic accessory to the system. I have DeWalt's 3000lm cordless tripod light as well, but this 4000lm is more portable, integrates with the Tough System, is brighter and more versatile. If desired, it's multiple mounting options make it easy to suspend. It'll sit atop the Johnson laser tripod I carry that collapses to about 2' but extends to a height of about 5.5', or it can just sit on a table, countertop or the floor. With its 360 degree rotating dual heads the options are nearly endless. I also like the option to plug it into 110v even if that probably won't be used very often. Whether carried with or without the took box this thing is a home run!

Arguably the best DeWalt purchase I have made to date. This sucker is BRIGHT and it’s very efficient, I ran my 2ah battery in it for over 3 hours and only took one bar. The ability to charge your battery and run it off of a cord is an added bonus. Great value for the price as long as you’re in the ecosystem. It’s super light and built DeWalt tough.

I use these all the time! Well worth the price, and the price was good to begin with. I now have two of these, I gave the first one to one of my landscape managers to keep in his truck; priceless for us in winter months while plowing. I use it for all kinds of stuff pretty much weekly.

Absolutely love this light. I'm electrician by trade, so we are often turning power off or working where there is no power. This light has been awesome to light the job sites. Very compact as to not take up much room on the truck or the job. The heads are independent and rotate 360 to get the light right where you want it. Only down fall is it goes thru batteries somewhat quickly. The storage tote is a great added bonus too

This light is a great addition to the work truck. good enough that I have 3 now, great for working up my work area when I am working in places with no power. It does not run through batteries when using a higher AH battery, i usually run a 6 or 8 in mine. Another plus is that this model you have plug into a 120v extension cord to run the light as well. It does not charge the battery though when plugged into the 120v source.
