Bought these for a three year old who loves using them. She practices her writing almost every day- unprompted. Two of the books are more advanced, but she will use them for number practice. The books contain puzzles, which we will work on together. The disappearing ink works great- no erasing needed. These come with plenty of refills for the pens and 2 grips.

The size is a little small but, it’s great for the grandbabies or children.

I gave this to my grandson when I went for a visit. He is three and a half years old and absolutely loves this set! He is so proud to show me what he has done. you will sit for hours by himself with it and when there is something that he doesn't understand because it's too old for him I have to be very patient turn it into a learning game for him. A month later and he is still engaged with it

Helps kids learn how to write and hold pencil

I ordered this for my 3 year old great niece. I’d ordered it before for another great new niece who has since gone on to school and it doing very well. It’s a good value for the money for the 5 books you receive. I’d recommend it as a Pre K teaching tool. It certainly helps their little imaginations.

Should have paid a few more dollars and bought the original Magic Groove set. Ink is poor quality and pages are very thin with the "grooved" being not very deep. I am sure the kids will use them, but not sure how long these will last as they are of a much lower quality than expected. Would return, but the kids are using them to some extent as they were a Christmas present. Guess as they say "you get what you pay for!"
