My 8 year old granddaughter told me that they were teaching the kids in school to read an analog clock - which I thought was a little strange at her age... but I guess in this digital world it makes sense that the kids would be late bloomers for the concept. This watch was offered up as a review item - and it was both attractive AND seemed like it would be small enough for a girl of diminutive size... and apparently I was correct. I chose the red watch banded model knowing that she likes bright colors - and the watch arrived as she just happened to be working on the clock homework that she was given in class that day! The "timing" couldn't have been better. She was beaming like it was a gift from Heaven and went to work quickly getting it set to the right time - and looking forward to taking it to school the next day. Grandma had sneaked a peek on it before she gave it to her and told me later "If she doesn't like it - I'll take it!" All in all it seems like a nice watch that isn't too big and would probably be best for a lady that wants a smaller watch and has a smaller wrist. This one gets the five stars!

Only thing I’d like different is the gold color surrounding the watch face is darker then the gold on the band but other then that it’s a real deal regular ole watch that’s easy to set and use. Old fashioned but some of us prefer that. A winner in my book!!!

This is a very petite watch with a dainty look. I have a 7.5" wrist and the band fits on the next to last hole (one hole to spare). The band has a textured look and feel on the colored side and is stamped "10 genuine leather" on the inside, but it does not have a leather (or any other) scent. The crown comes with a plastic tab locking the battery so that it is not running (and wasting the battery) during shipping. The background of the face has a wavy pattern and the every five seconds is included between the hours, but honestly it is very hard to read (it's even very hard to see in the ad pics). Everything about this watch is small so if you wear strong reading glasses, you will probably need to make sure you have them on hand to make out the numbers on this watch. I got this watch in red because I did not have red in my collection yet. Glad to add this piece to it!
