Rit All-Purpose Liquid Dye for Cotton, Linen, Rayon, Silk, Wool, Nylon, Wood and More

Dyed a white skirt yellow for a Kpop Demon Hunters Mira costume last Halloween. It turned out great, a true lemon yellow exactly as described on the package and online (wanted golden yellow but it was sold out), and was easy to use with no experience. It still looks the same after I washed it, so can reuse next year. I'm buying the same dye again to dye a white top yellow for a Sabrina Carpenter outfit for Coachella. Easy to use; worked great on my puffer jacket. My jacket was very pale gray (see the tag in the picture) and turned out a beautiful reddish brown with the Camel dye. The entire jacket dyed well and uniformly (except the tag, thread and zipper, which didn't dye at all). I added vinegar to the dye bath, and the jacket barely bled out any color when I first rinsed it out. It didn't bleed at all in the washer and has stayed unchanged since.

This has worked well in the past but after doing some reading I learned I don't have a big enough pot & it's not for synthetic material. I need a big pot I can set on a fire & wear my pointy hat while doing it. Give the neighbors something to talk about.

Works well on a variety of fabrics though the color changes. On cotton, it’s very brown. On synthetic its light brown. On cotton/poly blend its more of a maroon color. Keep that in mind.

Color didn’t come out uniform, spoty, darker & lighter in area

It's pretty but if you want the color to last longer use this companies colorstay dye fixative. It makes a difference. If you don't the color goes off fast.

Avevo giacchino e magliette bianche, ho utilizzato tutto il prodotto che dopo 15 minuti, con tintura a mano, ha raggiunto quello che volevo. Il giacchino è 20 cotone e resto poliestere, risultato eccellente.

I used it to dye my Jinx leggings and it worked miracles! And it’s very affordable

I bought it to experiment with dyeing process. Took an old jeans (almost white in color) followed the instructions on the bottle and the results are satisfactory. It gave a dark navy blue colour to the pants. Got a very intense Color as I had used the whole bottle. Fabric although hardens (becomes stiffer) after dyeing.

Horrible! Para empezar, el color es azul, no es verde. Y para acabar, no tiñe fibras sintéticas, como sí afirman en el anuncio. Lo quería para teñir unas zapatillas de deporte. Adjunto fotos de lo mal que se han quedado. Deberían indemnizar por las prendas dañadas. Tengo que tirar a la basura estas zapatillas porque están detenidas y ya no me las puedo poner así.
