This ThePoEstore 6 Outlet Horizontal 1U PDU Rack Mount Power Strips - Surge Protection is working perfect for my needs. I have a second, smaller rack that is being used for some miscellaneous gear that doesn't fit in the main rack and this PDU is perfect for that. There are 6 outlets that are standard US style outlets, no need for the regular PDU plugs that are usually used on rack PDU systems. Everything was included and assembly and installation just took a few minutes. So far it is working well. Overall, this is a great little PDU for a smaller rack.

Perfect for set-and-forget use. Not sturdy enough for professional use. Manufactured with light gauge sheet metal. Not roadworthy. No agency approvals, if that is important to you. Smells like a chemical factory - air outside for a few days before use inside. Requires assembly for use in a rack. Detachable six foot power cable is a big plus, via IEC 320 connectivity.

Product is exactly what I needed, fits properly, arrived in a timely fashion, is well built etc. I just wish it was UL listed. I had not thought to check that before ordering. I will be doing so from now on. While there are well made non-approved devices like this one, I prefer to have the product verified by UL, so -1 star.
