In my opinion the best sock out there
My wife had a pair that developed a hole after a few years, which was promptly replaced under the lifetime warranty.

Second pair of Darn tough
These socks might be a little expensive but it is well worth it, they are well built with reinforcements in the correct areas and also have a lifetime guarantee if you send them back to Darn Tough. So good I bought a second pair having had one pair for quite a few years already. Hand wash is the only downside! Socks come to just above the ankle so suitable for standard walking boots. If you have particularly high ankle support though I would get the other fit.

Darn tough are truly tough
Fantastic socks and very very durable compared to other high end brands. Other brands seems to wear the heels incredibly fast whilst these are truly darn tough

Extremely fast delivery, well packaged with nice company contact enclosed. Fits like a tight glove. Best investment in ages. Since hearing about DarnTough I am hooked. They really are worth spending the money in plus reputable company with no quibble lifetime return policy. I thought that was bull until my first cushioned pair for walking, now I have these for the snug feet time. Would highly recommend you invest in DarnTough and purchase from this supplier.

Now on my fourth pair of "Darn Tough Socks"
Darn Tough so far lives up to the name, merino wool for warmth, well made for comfort, and a life time guarantee on the socks [not me] are they worth paying extra for? time will tell, or as my grannie used to say "you get what you pay for"

Not consistent sizing
Quality as expected from darn tough, but despite other DT socks fitting me in size Large, these were at least an inch too long in the same size - I'm baffled
