This doorknob is great quality. The installation was easy, and the locking mechanism works smoothly.

I purchased these for our church hall. They appear to be very sturdy and were actually easy to install once I read the directions and figured out the plunger part could be adjusted for length.

We hired more staff and had a problem where some people tend to leave the bathroom closed after using it. It was difficult to see if the lights were on or off to see if anyone was inside, and so this lock makes it clear if someone is in the restroom or not. Simple solution that has avoided some potentially embarrassing situations of trying to enter a restroom while it is being utilized.

It's unusual to have this in a house, but I am using it on our bathroom that our guests use. The quality feels good, and red or green indicator should make it obvious whether or not to try to enter.

Bought two privacy handles for the restrooms at assembly. Installed both in March this year. One broke today. The inside door handle broke off. Weak metal inside the door handle just broke. The handle did not last four months.The concept is good (vacant, in use), however, the material is not sufficient for the job (opening and closing a restroom door in a high traffic environment).I do not see any other door handles made for restrooms at Amazon with a good review.
