nice piece of kit, it's been through -20 winters and 90 degree summers and i didn'tfind any problems with fading or staining of the dye, fairly large. i'm using it for all kinds of things such as a scarf, Bush pillow case, scope case, great for carrying cranberries but wouldn't recommend raspberries crumbles easily and used at a improvised haversack using 550 you can carry a light load without damaging the shemagh like berries, moss, and dry grass for tinder.they say theirs a 101 uses for a small bandana, imagine the uses with this well made Shemagh.a must have for your Bugout bag, camping trip, fishing trip, general fashion and for keeping the heat off your neck.made in Pakistan, good price WILL LAST A LIFE TIME FOR ITS INTENDED USE.

I plan on using my Shemagh for backpacking & while mowing dry grass & weeds. I would recamend washing this Shemagh before wearing. It has a odd smell as new. I put my in the Washing machine on Delicate cycle & let it Air dry. One note, if you have a larger head as I do this Shemagh Measures 43" x 41" overall & can be a little tough to get a double not while finishing tying off. If you look on Amazon there are a few that are the traditional size of 44 by 44 & will be easier to Tye.

its not a bad item, just had to wait for a long time on shipping, and when it arrived, I was most displeased that it came out of the package reeking of cigar smoke! I mean, come on! Did they make this thing in a tobacco factory!? other then that, product is good, color is good, I'm ok with it.

I'm happy with this Shamagh and will use it in my bug out bag for keeping my head warm and protecting my head/face from wind and dust. It should work great for numerous other uses as well (particulate filter for water, sling, bandage material, etc.)It is made in Pakistan, is a rather loose weave, and is cotton.I am giving it four stars because I wish it was a bit bigger.

The product itself is well made, durable and exactly what I expected. I try to avoid being "tacticool" and I felt a little silly buying one of these but they are just crazy useful. I wear it to keep the sun off my neck, I soak it in water and drape it over my head for air conditioning, wrapping it around your head desert style keeps the bugs away, it also works as a pot holder. It has quickly become an essential part of my outdoor equipment and I am 110% satisfied.

You need a very small head for this to work. Watch U-tube and the ones they use are larger than all I found on Amazon. Be sure you find the right size.

I love using this when on hikes, out in the sun, and as an accessory for larping. I have had no issue with the craftsmanship or quality. It offers great protection from the sun when worn on the neck, and it's nice to have on a hot sunny day. The color was a very true forest green, not washed out like some are. I purchased another one in a "green" color that ended up being closer to brown. Not so with this one, the color is by far my favorite.

Ordered 2 of these; a black on white and olive drab and black (received khaki on white instead of the green/black.) Both were covered in loose and detached threads and I handwashed immediately to remove the smell of what I can only describe as formaldehyde. The water turned dark brown... probably just the dye, but the smell makes me wonder what it was dyed with. Also, the cloth is thinner and more fragile than single ply toilet paper. It looks and feels ratty. I bought this product because of all the 4-5 star reviews... maybe I just caught Fox Outdoor with a bad lot? Anyway, For an extra $6 there is a seller called Prezentz that I have purchased from that offers a far superior product and is an equal 110 x 110cm making it much easier to wrap properly.
