This is a nice digital scale at a very fair price point. I bought it to use when I ship items too heavy to weigh on my digital kitchen ingredient scale (with a round bowl) which maxes out at 5 pounds. The 12" x 12" platform (plus the small but easily readable control head) is light weight (2 pounds 12 ounces in total) and doesn't take up a lot of space - but is large enough to weigh large/bulky items. It comes with a 110 volt wall outlet that you can use in place of batteries in the control head - but I'll probably never use that part - so I could have done without it. I checked it against my kitchen scale and the readings were almost identical. Oddly, there are "calibration directions" for this scale in the owner's manual - but it appears you need an object of known weight to do the calibration - which I don't have - and which was not included. Since the readings (when compared to my highly accurate kitchen scale) were almost identical, I doubt recalibration will be necessary unless you exceed the maximum rated capacity. I looked at other similar scales that were $5 or so less - but I'm glad I decided to spend a little more - because this is a great scale!!! I highly recommend it.

Needed this for my home business and it works perfectly. Accurate, easy to set up, and the 'Hold' function is a game changer for big boxes. Comes with both a plug and batteries, so you’re ready to go right out of the box. Highly recommend!

Sometimes we catch that it has changed to kg but when we try changing to different settings, it operates fine so not sure what the cause is, we just keep an eye on it.

Scale is a big help in my small business. The quality is on point so far and I have no issues with accuracy or getting charged shipping overages anymore!

Great product easy to use and quite precise

If you're like me and sell stuff on ebay as a hobby, this scale is perfect for you! I like how big the scale is and with it's long, coiled cord for the display and buttons, It's perfect for any place in your office. I use it on top of my desk but I like how I can move the screen anywhere and even mount it on the wall if I need to. Very convenient! Scale seems very sturdy and well made. Some scale feels cheap and sometimes does not even measure correctly. I haven't calibrated it with a calibrated weight yet but I have not had any problem from USPS or UPS about weight being wrong. Overall, Very nice scale! highly recommended

This scale is easy to use, and the display is easy to read. It is reasonably accurate for heavy items, but sometimes off for items under 1 pound. It is priced well for what you get.

Scale works very well and is really accurate. Seems cheaply made but for the range it weighs and how accurate we found it we can’t fault it. You do have to calibrate it yourself so luckily we had dumbbells the right weight we could use. 4 star was for cheaply made and calibrating run around. But so far we can’t fault its accuracy.
