Plastic free toothpaste
Arrived promptly. Nice taste. Seem to work well.

Best I've tried, but a bit watery to brush with.
These are the best toothpaste tabs I've tried yet, sometimes tabs can be a little lacking in mint flavour but these are ideal and taste just like toothpaste. My only critism is they are a bit watery when brushed with and not very pastey even when chewed (this may just been a limitation of toothpaste tabs or the lack of foam)

Do the job but are very chalky
I previously used Prism tablets which were very good, but unfortunately they seem to be no longer available so I tried these instead. They are good value but I found them unpleasantly chalky. They don't foam, although that's less of a concern for me. I may buy them again but may try and find another less chalky type first.

Brilliant alternative to toothpaste.
The tablets soon crunch up into a foam and give an excellent clean, better than most toothpastes and it is good to know there are no micro plastics or other nasties in there. I am now on my 3rd package and won't be using toothpaste again. Will be brilliant for taking away too on holiday, no messy pastes.

Don’t bother
Hardly taste the mint. Was like chewing chalk

Not the best
Tastes like minty chalk. Doesn’t foam well. Cleans teeth ok.

I finally made the switch to toothpaste tablets after reading a load of stuff about emulsifiers and seeing that my mainstream toothpaste contained an emulsifier I don't want to consume even little bits of. Wish I'd done it years ago! First: these tablets get my teeth super-duper clean. I thought the sonic toothbrush was good (and it really is); with these the outcome is even better. Second: no CMC (the emulsifier I'm avoiding). The xanthan gum isn't ideal (one reason for this being a four-star review) but CMC would be much worse. Third: the environmental benefits of having a lighter and more compact material without unnecessary ingredients. Fourth: after a few days of getting used to the different flavour (yes, you can pick out the bicarb of soda note - but it's fine once you're used to it) I love it and don't want to go back. The one time I did use some normal toothpaste I could really taste having a mouthful of soap - never want to have a load of sodium lauryl sulfate in my mouth again. I much prefer sodium bicarbonate with the full on mint and hint-of-cloves blast from these tablets. Fifth: no longer need to use toothpaste for sensitive teeth occasionally. (I'm very glad these have fluoride in.) Sixth: tablets not a tube means less packaging, no hard-to-recycle tube, no wasted toothpaste left inside the tube. The packet is industrially compostable. I will give it a go in the home compost. Some general comments. Yes it took a little while to get used to using them. The no-foam experience is definitely different; now I've got used to it, that's another reason I don't want to go back to old-style toothpaste. Yes they are a little bit dry when you first start to chew them. I don't really notice that now and in another six months probably won't notice it at all. Overall I am very happy with these tablets. Don't want to go back, and do want to persuade my husband to give them a go as well.

I travel for work a lot. About 1 of every 3 weeks, I will fly on an airplane, which limits the amount of toothpaste I can carry. Travel sized toothpastes are a pain. They are overpriced compared to their normal-sized counterparts, they add un-recyclable material to landfills, and they never have to good flavors in the travel sizes. I've been interested in toothpaste tabs for a while, but I am a very cavity-prone individual. I have too-acidic saliva, and I also love candy. Xylitol absolutely can help prevent cavities, but it just isn't enough for me, so I felt I needed something with fluoride, especially after discussing this with my dentist. While Europe and Asia seem to be blessed with multiple choices for toothpaste powders and tablets containing fluoride, it is strangely difficult to find this in the United States. These are present online, but companies won't ship to America or the shipping is upwards of $20, which is a bit more than I'm willing to spend to make my traveling chompers a little happier. These ship from Europe (mine came from Great Britain, but that's seller-dependent), so it takes some time. My package arrived having been sliced open, but I suspect that has to do entirely with package handling en route. This was frustrating, however, because several (maybe 15) tablets were crushed, and some had fallen out in my mailbox. I only mention this because the corn-starch based packaging for the product is REALLY tough! It was still torn, but significantly less than the mailer, and I found it challenging to tear except on the perforated line. It is also compostable, which is a nice perk for the environmentally-conscious. Also, with all the (apparently incredibly) rough handling, ONLY ~15 tablets were damaged out of 125. The packaging is in German, as pictured. If this is daunting to you, finding instructions online was simple. There are also pictures on the packaging that are pretty simple to understand. Basically, take one tab, chew it, start brushing. These don't foam like normal, store brands, but I honestly didn't miss the foam. I included a picture of the brushing process, so you can see the lack of foam. The flavor is a generic mint flavor. It's fine. They taste like toothpaste. Like most fluoride toothpastes, you shouldn't rinse with water after brushing, and I actually thought that was easier to do with these than pastes. It is hard to rank these on a 5-star scale, because almost nothing is available for comparison. Having said that, these currently fill a hole in the market, and they function as described.
