When trying to revive an 1984 Bitter SC with ignition issues, this is a perfect assistant. I do not have a helper. Being able to hit the starter while looking for spark at the plugs, one of these is a must. It works perfectly. And if anyone is wondering, You can use either the trigger or the button to activate the start.

Though the remote starter is reasonably well made, at least the one I received has a flaw that severely limits usefulness. The issue is that it takes WAY too much effort to open the clamps to clip onto terminals of typical size. I'm not at all weak or frail, have great strength / grip, but found it difficult enough to open the clamp that I can't help but think I got a bad unit. In trying to determine the possible cause, I slid the insulating cover back off the spring - then the spring clamp could be opened as expected. But there are times when the insulators are a requirement.

Honestly I don’t know what took me so long to order one. This is great for when you want to inspect a starter motor and diagnose issues with it.

not bad, but a bit flimsy. there are heftier ones on the market for same price

Functional product, one trigger or the other to crank. But I found out if you drop it while connected, it will crank. I modified it so both triggers have to be in use prior to cranking. BTW you should hire people who can solder and not just slap some solder on to make connections.
