A-Premium Pair (2) Front CV Axle Shaft Assembly Compatible with Jeep Wrangler 2007-2018, Wrangler JK 2018, with Dana 186 mm Axle, Driver and Passenger Side

The knuckle/U-joint is much larger than OEM and I had to tap it in with a hammer, but it's all back together and driving just fine. Time will tell if it lasts, but seems pretty heavy duty.

The axle was shipped and delivered very promptly, arriving well packaged and in perfect condition. My 2010 JKU Sahara with a Dana 30 (230,000 miles) was a bit of a pain to disassemble, but replacement of the the axle was straightforward and problem-free. The old u-joint was shot. Also replaced the wheel bearing and ball joints. The new axle's u-joint is significantly beefier but fit beautifully. Should be good for another 250k !!

Good quality part. But... yes as what seems to be the case with all these axles is grinding is required. The CV is larger and the axle hits on the hub bolts. The vendors don't just make parts not to spec. Chrysler must have changed the print. I bet if you buy new hub bolts they have smaller flanges, pre ground, if you will. Wish I did. No biggie, got a bench grinder.

U-joint was way too big. Hitting the knuckle and preventing the axel from turning. Horrible!!!

Axle was coated in a rust preventative solution and then sealed in a bag. Axle quality is good. I didn't have any clearance issues after assembled. CON 1. Axle nut contact points is beyond poor. Most of the bearing stress is near the points of the hex rather than on a bearing surface generally on a hex nut. Kit should include a washer or a properly designed axle nut.

Replaced my 2007 Jeep jk drivers axle. This is a pretty solid axel. I’m not sure about the u joint but is a grease-able one so that’s a plus. Was in a pinch to get it on the road so I’ll probably replace u joint with a spicer at some point . Splines were well lubricated and slid right in. So far no issues. It is made in china label is on the carton it shipped in.

Like the grease fitting for U-joint. Price was best I found. Purchased both sides, driver side is perfect, passenger side had some interference at steering knuckle opening, but seems ok after a few miles.

Perfect fit. Nice to see a grease fitting on the u joint. Only thing I could ask for is the plastic shield to seall the axle end.

It did not fit. Mechanic bought it from me. Bought it for a 2007 standard 4 Dr jeep wrangler-this was not the right one
