Let me start with the fact that I’m 5’4, 150 lbs. Now, I initially wanted to get the medium because I kept reading mixed reviews. Some say, “Go a size up for comfort.” Others say, “It needs to be snug in order to have a full effect, so go a size down.” I ended up ordering (and am wearing as I type this) the xs-s as a 150 lbs wide woman (see pictures & video). My truths: Getting it on was not easy, but it was not challenging either. I have hips, so I’m use to wiggling pants, shorts, and underwear on. Once I wiggled it on, it did what it was supposed to do. It’s very stretchy, yet tight enough to support and make a visible difference. It’s comfortable for me, and I realize people’s level of comfort varies, but it’s not unbearable and it’s easy to move around in as well. The only part that gets a little uncomfortable is the thong part, but that has nothing to do with this product. Thongs are uncomfortable for me in general (it is literary fabric stuck between the cheeks. I mean, who would find that super comfortable?). Every other area is comfortable though. My abdomen, back, and crotch area is fine. Nevertheless, the product does what it’s meant to do, it helps, and it provides comfort. I highly recommend it, and I would say get a size down than what you would normally get so it can be tight enough to work. It will stretch. I typically get everything in a medium and most in a large, but this xs-s is perfect for me. Again, for me.

I ordered a 4x. I'm 270 5'7 I wear xl-xxl in clothing. Let me just say instant BBL AFFECT!! I have a nice size butt. However during my weight loss journey I needed something to hold me in place & keep me lifted at the same time. I purchased these thong shapers & the butt lifter at the same time. I wear the butt lifters during my work outs & around the house. They are comfortable, sexy, & do what needs to be done. Looks great under clothing/seamless. For me it gave TO MUCH EXTRA BOOTY, so I opted to wearing these thong shapers under neath my clothing. Instantly snatched! Stomach on flat. Booty poking! Since my 1st order I have ordered 8 more times 5pair for me, because I don't leave home without them on. I wear mine daily! I have purchased 3 extra pair for friends!!

UPDATED REVIEW: I wore this for an evening event with a dress and it stayed up perfectly with the boning. But all night, the thong was creeping up into my butt every time I sat down. Very uncomfortable. Definitely wear it at home for a couple of hours sitting, standing, and walking around to get the full effect of how it's going to settle while you're wearing it outside of your home. I wear a size 10 and I bought an XL-XXL and it was tight pulling it up. But with the larger size, I didn't have the thong ride up into my butt like I've read it did with some other people. There isn't any rubber grippy part on the top but there is a boning system in place to hold it up and cinch your waist. It's quite comfortable and the fabric is really nice. I don't see this falling down whatsoever. I'm really happy with how it holds everything in place and you can't beat the price! Great buy!!

Let me tell you something. This waist cincher girdle with a thong does NOT play about smoothing. Putting it on was an Olympic event. I had to shimmy, stretch, exhale my ancestors, and commit fully. But once it was secured? The lady lumps? Smoothed. The tummy? Contained. The love handles? Politely escorted back into alignment. From the front and sides? Absolute sculpture. I looked airbrushed. Filtered. Like I drink green juice voluntarily. But then… we get to the back. The thong portion chose violence. Listen. I understand eliminating panty lines. I support it. But this thing wedged itself with the determination of a climber scaling a mountain. It was not sitting in my butt crack — it was establishing residency. Every step? Reminder. Every sit-down? Negotiation. Every attempt to subtly adjust? Futile. It smoothed everything beautifully, yes. But it also redefined the phrase “up close and personal.” By hour two, I was walking like I had a secret. Would recommend to: • Anyone who values front-facing perfection • Anyone willing to sacrifice comfort for contour • People prepared for unexpected rear-end drama Three stars because the smoothing effect is elite. Two stars deducted for the back-end chaos. Beauty is pain… but this felt personal.

I ordered a size smaller then the chart recommended due to trying on wedding dresses the very next morning, so I knew it would be a little tighter then normal. Even with the size situation it fit surprisingly well! It of course was right around my thighs and cut in a tiny bit. This will be solved when I order my actual proper size. I was still comfortable enough to sit down in it and even eat and try on 6 dresses. The front never budged but the back rolled a tiny bit, but I feel that was due to size issues more then the garment itself. I’m not usually one to wear thongs but these were actually comfortable to wear. I wore it from 9am til close to 6pm. I will be ordering my size and a few extra.

This is a really great product especially after mommy makeover with tummy tuck and hernia repair. I’ve noticed the beige one is much bigger than the black ones. The 2X is really snug in the color black but it will get more comfy throughout the day. It’s frustrating to have to pull it down each time you pee, especially when you work for 13 hours, but it really gives you the compression you need. I only had one issue out of 4 I ordered, the wire came through one of them. But I easily returned it and just got a refund. I think this product is well worth the price and great quality. It truly is amazing for shapewear too! I am 5’5” and 240 lbs, and these do run on the tighter end so I got a 2X and a couple 3x just for breathing room. There isn’t a much of a difference in the black 2X and 3x just FYI. The beige is a large difference if you need a looser fit.

I purchased the one with the lace because I didn't want the full brief and it seems some reviewers received the full brief instead of the thong. It is really cute. I went for a size medium although the charts said I should be xl. The medium is comfy but I will be ordering another smaller size to cinch everything in a bit more.

I love that this keeps my stomach in but I would go a size up from what you usually wear as it's really tight. Other then that it looks great when I wear my jeans.

This shape-wear is not very sturdy and the ribbing was incredibly floppy and kept rolling down. I ordered a small and even though it was somewhat tight, it provided no compression and creased in weird places as I wore it. After wearing it one time, threads were coming off and the seams were coming undone. You would be better to spend your money on Spanx for a real result and lasting quality.
