I just got this watch and I've very impressed with it, especially for the price. As any field/military watch should be it is very clear and easy to read. I chose the black case with white on black color and it's very sharp. It looks like it should cost 5-10x more (or more). The 40mm (although I measured it at about 39.5mm) size is perfect with much of that being the watch dial itself. It actually looks bigger than 40mm on the wrist, almost like a 42mm. So if you're worried 40mm might be too small it's not. It would still be great at 38mm. The silicone/rubber strap is very soft and comfortable, and would be good for all-day wear. The crystal is flat and is raised a little above the bezel. The crown action is very good for setting the time. The hands don't get loose or jump around when the screw is pushed back in. The date is a little trickier to set as the first position of the crown doesn't lock in very well and goes back to running/zero position easily. But that isn't an issue unless you have to move the date several days. Adjusting from 31 to 1 or 28 to 1 won't be an issue. The watch came with a plastic collar to hold the crown out in time setting mode to prevent the watch from running until worn by the owner which is nice. The second hand hits most (75-80%) of the markers on the dial which is better than expected at this price. The hands are polished silver with a little lime on the hour and minute hands. The numbers are not lumed. I thought the hands were white based on the pictures, but polished silver is just as easy to read on this dial. The description on Amazon set 30m WR, but the face says 50m and case back says 5ATM. I don't know that I'll ever test it in the pool but I'll feel good about wearing this watch in other water situations. The build quality is amazing for $10. No wonder it has a 4.4 star rating based on over 4700 reviews. Get this watch if you want a decent, easy to read, inexpensive field watch. If you want something a little bigger, LN Lenquin makes a similar one at 42mm that is also well reviewed. I plan to update this review after I've owned this watch for a few more months. Hopefully I'll still have only good things to say. But hey it's $10!!!

had this a while now, feels good quality, keeps good time, not a light flimsy watch, it looks far better than the price suggests, keeps excellent time, easy to read dial without being child like, it's a good watch.

For the price this is a great watch with the exception of two things. Make the window that shows the date a little bit bigger which would make it easier to see. Second I wish it had the indiglo lighting so you could easily see it at night time.

This is a great watch. The band is soft silicone rubber. Super comfortable. Keeps perfect time. I have owned it for several months now and it's my favorite.

Amazing value. Accurate. Readable. Stainless steel case and back. For protection during shipping, there was film on the crystal and back, came in a nice cloth sleeve. The second hand hits the marks, not in between, at least very close. These watches as a whole have a beautiful shape and construction. At least for the one with blue hands, the glossy numbers on the face are raised/embossed, the same as on expensive watches. Practical good-looking band with firm pin. Now I prefer a quartz watch because I don't have to worry that it will stop. This is the best inexpensive watch I've ever found. I have bought 4 of them, one with white numbers on a black face with a black strap, one with a black case and blue hands, and one with steel bracelet, plus this one with white face and white band. I find that the back of the black case one is held on with four screws like some Casios, no big deal. And the steel bracelet is difficult to adjust the size, and to secure it on my wrist, but I figured it out. It takes a few tries to set these watches accurately because the minute hand tends to move when you push in the crown. I would give these watches 6 stars because of all the good features. Advice to anyone reading this, don't let your watch get wet even if it says "Water Resistant." That is advice I received from a watch repair friend. Serious divers have waterproof watches, and they make sure the seals don't get old and leak. The inside of the crystal as well as the face of a friend's Rolex Datejust are cloudy because he showered with it. I persuaded him to stop that, and will work on him to have it serviced and detailed.

Really impressed with this watch so far! It's well built, looks great, and the price is excellent! I like it so much that I've starting buying some for friends too.

Nice watch overall. The band is a bit slippery (I ordered a replacement band). Know that the "luminescence" of the watch hands in minimal at best Rather impossible to view the sweep second hand in low light. If that feature is important...look elsewhere.

Great watch for the price. It does take a lot of bright light to initiate the glow and it does not last long. But I didn't buy the watch for the glow. I bought it because I can turn my wrist and see the time without my reading glasses. An analogue watch gives a quick reference to time measurement, not just the static readout of what time it is bow.
