Way too small!
Size looked bigger than it actually was. Very disappointed in this. The moon didn’t look like a moon.

It is made well, was a perfect gift for my father in-law, I see it on his desk every time I visit!

Nice globe, trash base. Fine for the price, though.
The globe, itself, is perfect and exactly the size I expected. I'm not sure why other buyers are complaining that it's small. It's exactly as described and the moon looks really good. But the wooden base is junk. In fact, the one I received was mildewy. I had to wipe it down and sand it to get it clean. It's unfinished, pretty rough and the absolute cheapest lightweight wood possible. Don't expect fine quality for the price but it'll probably be fine with more sanding, staining and some polyurethane. The light is bright. Too bright to use as a nightlight, in my opinion. The globe acts sort of as a lens and projects a bright spot on the ceiling.

This is going to be a gift for someone who loves astronomy. It's very bright and the detachable globe can be set at any angle.
