Tastes amazing! Works great with my Frog machine, great value for money , easy to use, just pop in the pod and go! For extra flavour, after being in your press, just add it straight to the cup as a traditional tea bag. Great size and water flow is easy with my machine. Very very nice and gives it that winter spice feel. You can also use these in COLD water for a water infusion! Which I do daily!

First time using Caffe Borbone Gold Blend and it won't be the last. What attracted me to it was "Neapolitan" of which I am no stranger. I have been using one of those funny little pots that you put coffee into the top and hot water into the bottom which is then turned upside down. to make the coffee. My problen when I bought my E.S.E. pod machine was finding an equivalent taste. All were mostly too weak. That was until I found Caffe Borbone Gold. The coffee has quite an authentic, Neapolitan taste I was looking for, quite strong but smooth and sweet. I make it as an espresso and add warm milk and hot water to 180ml for a milky Americano which is perfect for me at all hours of the day. But I think the pods will work equally well as a Lungo. As I make it I get quite strong body, milk chocolate and minimum acidity. Just one criticism: The pods don't have the green printing designating it as compostable as illustrated in the product description. But that's something of a mute point because it's the coffee that matters. Overall, highly recommended and a well deserved 5 stars.

I bought the blue pack for my Delonghi machine. Sadly the water pressure going through delivered a weak cup of coffee and as strength of flavour is my main criteria I was disappointed. However I carefully cut a circle of the top surface of the paper pod and tried again - delicious!! A lovely strong, flavourful cup of coffee. Yes it's a bit of a faff, however there is little mess as the grounds are contained - good it's compostable but the packaging is still plastic. So, for me there are pluses and minuses, but as a coffee lover I will definitely buy again. April 2025 - new coffee machine (old one died 2yrs ago) and I've been using a Tassimo machine and recycling the pods though podback. I decided to get a new machine as I wanted to just use ese pods - no mess and compostable. Ordered the gold pack - delicious and strong and the spent pods go in my compost bin . My only gripe is that I can't recycle the pod packaging - which defeats the object really .

28 Days - shelf life is very poor You have to use multiple pods to make one cup of coffee, so weak if you use one pod its basically water, 3-4 pods finally gets you coffee. Think theyre like just selling off old stock to get rid. May as well just use it for compost. Disgusting.

A slight bitterness but otherwise very good flavour. Great value for money. Will buy again.

It’s actually not a bad tasting coffee, stronger than I thought, less mess to clean up after too. Just remember you do need a machine which can take these pods they aren’t a tea bag so don’t expect to put them in your mug and get a nice cup of coffee.

Great, rich tasting Italian espresso that's easy to use and does not go stale because each pod is individually wrapped in a sealed packet. As good as, and much cheaper than, other Italian brands. Just make sure your machine can work with ESE pods.
