It was thick enough that it held up without tearing through a very long-distance move, though it doesn't come with tape or another method to seal off the top of the bag. I used shrink wrap which worked fine (and the bag held up well to me flipping the mattress around while shrink wrapping it). By the end of the move, I noticed much of the shrink wrap ripped, but none of the bag itself ripped. I would say my queen mattress is on the medium-to-light side, so not sure if it would hold up equally well with a heavy mattress.

My wife and I recently bought a new mattress. When it came time to dispose of our old one, we found out that we would need to wrap it tightly in plastic due to local regulations. I was taken aback about it when I found out, but sure enough, it's true. Needless to say, I wasn't too keen on having to buy a piece of plastic that would literally only serve the purpose of letting me dispose of a mattress, but I'm grateful I was able to find this bag, since it cost less than $10 and seemed to be pretty good quality. We had to leave our mattress outside overnight before being able to take it to the local landfill, and of course it rained. Happy to report that no water got in, and while we weren't aiming to keep the mattress, I was relieved that this bag seemed to be made to stand up to the elements, since it's possible we may need to buy another bag when it comes time to move from our apartment. I bought this uBoxes Queen Mattress Cover to protect our mattress during a recent move. On the plus side, it’s very generously sized as our thick queen mattress slid right in without a wrestling match, and the plastic is clear and heavy enough to keep dust, moisture, and moving-truck grime off the fabric. It also sealed nicely with tape at the open end so nothing snuck in during the trip. That said, the plastic did tear in a couple of spots when we were dragging the mattress up the stairs. It wasn’t a huge problem since the tears were small and the mattress itself stayed clean, but if you’re moving solo or over rough surfaces, I recommend either double-layering or being extra careful when maneuvering. I’ve used thinner mattress bags before and they’re basically glorified trash bags. This one is definitely stronger and thicker than most, but it’s not indestructible. For a single move, it’s a cost-effective way to keep your mattress protected and makes it easier to grip without touching the fabric directly. ✅ Bottom line: Great protection at a good price, just don’t expect it to survive rough handling like a tarp. For careful movers or storage, it’s more than enough. Easy to remove once you get to where you're going.

It's a cheap, thin plastic cover for your mattress. If it's packed right this is the cover you want. If it's going to heave around and you care about getting scuffs on your mattress maybe go with a better option. Served me just fine.

I didn’t use this as intended, but it served its function. I was having an issue with a non-neutered cat frequently making messes on my bed, forcing me to wash 3 loads of blankets most days. This sheet allowed me to cover my bed and only have a couple blankets on top to reduce cleaning. Its size was just right, the crinkle sound wasn’t obnoxious, and in the time I used it, it prevented my other blankets from getting any bad smells.

Very thin product. Not what I expected. Not good for moving. Plastic tears easily.
