Works Great, Easy to Apply
A couple of days after the tech completed my heat pump annual maintenance visit this year, I happened to notice while gardening that the insulation around the copper piping outside had been torn away (squirrels?) & had gaps. This pipe wrap was a quick fix, easy to apply & the unit is working well.

I wrapped my outdoor pipes with this wrap. Temperatures got down in the 20 s and even though I have 15 foot of pipe above ground, it did not break! I wrapped it over a heating cord.

Will not stay wrapped around pipes. Unwraps within minutes.
Wrapped HVAC piped and within minutes the insulation started to unravel and no matter how I tried pressing it together again, it would not stay wrapped, adhesive useless. And too late to send it back because it has all been used. Very disappointing and I have no idea where all the positive reviews came from. Do not buy

Very sticky! Did what I needed.
Added this to my home’s exterior pipes to try and prevent freezing! A few weeks later and they are holding up well over winter this year. Did what I needed and easy to apply, very sticky.

I used this to wrap part of my heat pump refrigerant lines. It sticks to itself well enough when wrapped with overlaps.
