I love this electronic drum set! Pros: -The pad is very responsive and accurate in playing the sounds of the drums, even when you strike the pads very quickly or hit multiple pads at one time -I LOVE the placement of the high hat in the middle! Any drummer will tell you that this positioning is far more natural on a flat drum pad than having the high hat on the left. Most electronic drum pads have the high hat on the left (like a traditional drum set up), but this does not work on an electronic drum pad because your sticks will hit each other (a real high hat is higher than a snare drum). We bought this unit because of its setup and it has worked out great! I would not suggest this unit, however, for a left handed drum player. -The unit is portable with a rechargeable battery! We bought this for our son to play drums on long car drives, and it works GREAT for that purpose -It is waterproof -It is compact and foldable -Headphone jack! -It has lots of demo songs and sounds to choose from to add variety Cons: -Sound quality could be better, but for the cost and intended purpose it is fantastic -No velocity inputs, so it doesn't matter how hard you hit the pads, the sound is the same. Velocity sensitivity would be nice, but at this price point not realistic -The pedals feel like cheap plastic and it is the only part of the unit I am worried could fail over time Overall, we absolutely love this unit. The design is so much more practical than the vast majority of these electronic drum pads that put the high hat in the awkward spot on the left, which just does not work out ergonomically on a flat drum pad. This unit is well thought out, reasonably priced, and highly effective for practicing drums.

Volume doesn't go low enough to be used in small homes, the extra modes aren't really engaging. My kids were bored of it very quickly.

I bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter who is obsessed with music. She also was gifted headphones. She plays this for hours, and she plays to music that we sync with our phones. It was by far the best gift for her!

My teen son practices his percussion pieces and plays around with beats. The speaker is clear and the volume can be adjusted. It doesn’t take up a lot of space and is easy to transport and set up. The one down side he mentioned is that it’s not set-up like an actual drum set. The placement is good but the high hat is in the middle, however it is still good for beginners. I hear him on it a lot, so I take it he still enjoys it.

Granted I am only learning some drums but am a ood musician otherwise and am blown away by this. I was actually going to use while babysitting preschoolers but not so sure now. Yes it is toy like but it has output ports and rec on board and is easy to play. Almost as if I could work out some new rhythms for composing or to practice discreetly while learning general patterns. It is far from just a toy! And easier to hand play than actual drum machines lol. Came charged, and the 2 pedals also are amazing for hi hat and bass. Totally blown away and sparks a lot of creativity

I got this just to mess around with a drum pad. For that purpose this is fine. I wouldn't trust this to actually try to record any music and the built in sounds are just alright. It suits my purposes.
