Excellent, works perfectly. The body is metal, it has a nice weight. From what I have done it performs to the requirements, very easy set up and it worked first time for me! Now loving vinal on digital sound system! Perfect

Started to have dropouts in the audio after only a month, but could be solved by just unplugging and plugging it in again. After two months it just stopped working completely. Have tried different USB ports as well as changed to USB C cable.... nothing worked

I purchased this to allow my laptop to connect to my speakers when I'm at home. When it worked, the sound quality was good, but there were too many occasions where it would crackle, stop playback, and then restart - my speakers were constantly crackling from the regular disconnections. Sadly, what looks and sounds like a good product just wasn't what I expected so returned for a refund. The adapter feels very well made, so maybe I got a faulty one, but having tried different TOSLINK cables and another PC, I experienced the same issue.

My sound system doesn't support HDMI audio and the USB interface is UAC2.0, which Switch does not support, thus need this adapter. The adapter I received works great as SPDIF coax output for my Switch, I haven't test other output yet. PCM27xx is a really classic UAC1.0 interface, but also understand that UAC1.0 only support PCM. This adapter is perfect okay for casual listening, but it is not suitable for surround sound system(Dolby or DTS) or audiophile.

Non so se e' stato diffettoso solo il mio, ma quando alzo il volume al massimo, il destro canale diventa muto. A basso volume funziona bene.

Aluminum quality construction. Reliably does the job. I fed a smartphone's USBC audio output to this USBC to toslink converter, ran the optical output to my hi-end DAC, and turned my old smartphone into a dedicated streamer. Recommended product.
