SZBJ IR Repeater Transponders, IR Remote Control Extender Kit BJ-104

Purchased for usage in the multimedia booth in the church. Installation took less than 15 minutes. We now have much better control of our camera, cd player, monitors, etc.. We no longer need to get to closer to the equipment to use the remote(s). The alternative would have cost over $100. This was a great value and quality was much better than expected. I suggest the purchase of additional IR transmit/receive packs, this unit has the capability for 3 imputs, only one is included.

I have had this in use for two weeks now. I am using it with a Yamaha RXA4A receiver and an Arris Cable STB that are hidden in an AV closet about 10 feet from our Sony TV. The IR Receiver works well and appears to receive signal from our remotes at up to 15 feet without issue. It also works well from most of the angles I have tested it at. My only caution is that the IR Receiver only has a 6ft cable. To maximize cables hidden in the AV closet, my set up requires at least a 10ft cable run to go from where I have IR unit housing to where I need the IR receiver installed at the TV. Everyone's set up will vary but I recommend a 3.5mm M/F extension cable for better cable management. I am using a 10 feet 3.5mm Amazon Basic extension cable and it is working well.

I ordered this and ended up having to wait months to get additional receivers. After finally getting them, I installed it. It made everything unusable. The receivers work well. The problem is that the emitters have an incredibly weak signal. Most of my devices don't respond at all, even with an emitter placed directly on the receiver on the device. The ones that do respond frequently require 5-10 button presses to do anything at all.

Beware beware ( szbje)Poor customer service, product worked once then stopped. Seller blame install and only comments on part of request. Seller was informed that evidence of install can not be shown do to file size. Biggest Problem is it worked once then stopped with no changes was made. Buyers beware I have checked all ports one at a time 6 on one side three on the other with no change. Buy at your own risk.

The product which I have ordered twice because I thought it was a mistake does not come as implied by the picture. ONLY 3 EMITTERS NOT 4 !
