Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt star in this sci-fi action feature based on the light novel 'All You Need Is Kill' by Hiroshi Sakurazaka. New Special Forces recruit William 'Bill' Cage (Cruise) is equipped with a powered exoskeleton and sent on a mission to fight a fierce alien race known as Mimics, who are ultimately unstoppable. Cage soon dies in combat but, caught in a time loop, he finds himself very much alive and once again facing the same battle. This process repeats itself several times but with every fight Cage grows stronger and more adept. He meets tough warrior Rita Vrataski (Blunt) and together they try to bring down the enemy once and for all. Review: Fantastic, brilliant, thought out movie. - Tom Cruise at his entire best. What a fantastic, brilliant, thought out movie. A must see movie if you are into Tom Cruise, Science Fiction, saving the world genre. Don't want to give any spoilers so I won't. There's talks that a 2nd one could be on the way, so here's hoping fingers crossed 🤞. If it does go ahead and is anything like the 1st one, we're all in for a treat. Keep up the brilliant work Tom, you make us all feel young 👍👍👍👍 Review: Edge of Tomorrow - Great film - I've always loved this film from its release, such an entertaining film and i would probably go as far to say, its Tom Cruise's best, love it, can we have a second.

It's scifi enough said..
Really enjoyed this film, so much so I wish it was an hr longer..it's over to quick! The 4k disk is exceptional.. excellent picture and the sound is alive ! Simply put if you have a good home cinema set up this disk is demo worthy , bass is dynamic and punchy.. (I had to check living room for structure for damage after watching it 😂) Dolby Atmos is excellent too with good surround and overhead effects.. a must for any scifi fan.

Relive the same day whilst fighting aliens.
Tom Cruise finds himself reliving the same day over and over and over whilst in the midst of an alien invasion of Earth. When Europe falls to an alien horde, Tom Cruise finds himself suddenly reliving the same day, restarting every time he dies. He must team up with Emily Blunt to come up with a solution to stop these insidious invaders.

Getting killed again and again and again...and always waking up right before you go to battle to be killed again! No, despite how it sounds, it's not boring and it's not repetitive! In Live Die Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow, Tom Cruise plays an American officer taken from his soft job to take part in a Normandy invasion to take the offensive against an alien entity that has crashed into the earth in Germany that threatens to wipe mankind from the face of the planet. Tom Cruise is an unwilling participant in the invasion where the humans find themselves taking massive casualties as the aliens somehow know they are coming. Cruise is no warrior and he stumbles around a beachhead reminiscent of Saving Private Ryan as far as bloody disaster. Of course, cruise is killed - but not before he kills a very special mimic (the name for the alien adversaries) and is changed. Having been killed, he wakes up in the day before the invasion to relive the experience again, but with a twist. The reluctant warrior learns more and more each time he relives the invasion...and is made aware of the reason he comes back to life after getting killed and how this ties into the only way the alien entity can be defeated. Tom Cruise is the only man who can defeat the alien and save mankind. The special effects are excellent, but never trump the plot or the excellent acting. I am no fan of Cruise, but he does an excellent job in this film as does his costar, Emily Blunt. This film blends drama with a surprising amount of clever humor. The film itself is rather tame as far as language and sexual content. The violence is not as graphic as other sci-fi films, but you won't miss it. I certainly didn't! This is a fine sci-fi film that will also appeal to action/adventure fans. This is a film that can be enjoyed by a wider audience that doesn't need skin or f-bombs to keep the viewer's interest. I give it five stars.

Absolute Kaufempfehlung!
