U-Turn Audio - Orbit Plus (Gen 2) Turntable, White

Wow! What a beautiful turntable. The sound is incredible. I had bought another well known brand unit that was skipping over and over no matter how perfectly clean my records were - once I upgraded it not only resolved ALL of those issues but I also got to experience the warmth of sound that I was looking for when I went on the journey. The be clear - this turntable has not skipped one time. Be aware - this unit does not come with a cue lever or automatic end of record return. These additional items are available from U-turn audio. For me the quality makes that a non-issue and if I had read deeper perhaps I would have selected these features on purchase.

Great move from my first U-Turn turntable. This was also the first with a preamp built in. I was expecting to need to tweak it a ton but the preamp is pumping out solid volume and with an improved tone arm and cartridge you do catch a lot more. The grooved acrylic platter means easier installation of the belt remedying what was a maddening chore before. If you’re afraid of the Quality versus Budget valley, I can appreciate that. Spending more was a risk but I should have known this is a quality product from a quality company. The bump up made me happy to try this level of performance for a bit and so far so very very good.

After doing a fair amount of research, I opted for this table. Good price, excellent sound. Setup was very simple. The noise level is very low compared to my Gerrard Zero 92. I chose the basic cartridge. I am extremely pleased with the performance. One addition I would make is the purchase of the time arm staging adapter. I shake a bit.

Very happy with my purchase. Able to play well albums from 50 years ago.

I love how simple and modern it looks and the sound is an upgrade from my last turntable. No pream built in so buy that too and no cue lever buy that too.

I like everything about this turntable. It makes my vinyl collection sound much better than anything else I’ve ever owned. Customer service is outstanding too - my motor starting making some odd clicking noises so I called. No questions asked, they just sent me a replacement and it was simple to install. Nice company to deal with. Highly recommended!

Not worth the money. I was very disappointed in overall quality and performance. The company states it competes with High end tables but do not come close. My fault thinking it would have basic control; features like raising arm or even switching the speed. But no, they make you manually have to do it, and they could have at least included one extra belt. I would have been better to buy a pre own unit for the same price range and would of came out so much better. As their name U-turn this is what you should do and u-turn around and look at something else.

works, well, looks good, wish i would have paid for the solid wood one to get a classier look.
